When "did" you take delivery? USA only

USA Delivery is on Sat April 28... My Tricolore will be Arriving on Friday Evening on the 27, but I won't be able to see it till Saturday morning, hopeful to close deal by tues or Wed..

I spoke to my dealer (Calgary) this morning and they got their first S yesterday and their Tri is in next week, so that'll be 3 in Canada.

I asked him if he knows anything about mine (base) and he said hopefully mid-May but can't guarantee it.

Maybe just not for the launch...
 
talked to my dealer in edmonton and they have the "s" in now and have been billed for the tri, it should be here tomorrow. but i missed out on the first one by 5 min so i get the second one to show up. maybe late may or even june! :eek:
 
God I wish my dealer wasn't completely worthless. They didnt even know the NA official launch was the 27-28...on top of that they have no idea when bikes should be arriving. Gives me an uneasy feeling.

I should be getting the first 1199S they have ordered since the first one was non-abs and apparently im the only whack-job who doesnt want ABS.

Other than that they said that Ducati NA would probably send an email or something to that effect confirming that my pre order is coming...of course I have received no such emails.

Sam diamond - No sir, I'm purchasing mine in Indianapolis. The guys over at Ducati Indianapolis (Ducati Indianapolis : Ducati Sales, Ducati Service, Ducati Parts) are great. I've had the pleasure of doing a couple years of trackdays with them because of a good friend of mine and wouldn't feel right if I bought from anyone else.

I'm glad to see someone else is buying one of these in Chicago :) Dammit, and for a second I was hoping I was the only lucky SOB ;)

You still might be the only one cuz I live in Milwaukee but didn't want to buy from the dealer near me. But maybe I'll run into you sometime in Chicago....if I ever get mine sometime this year hopefully. Hahahaha

You guys realize that dealers of highend bikes especially, get hard feelings when guys go do dealers that are farther away right...and have even turned away bikes for service, especially warrantee work of guys who didn't buy from them.

Well im in a similar predicament ...I have a base 1199 ordered through my regular dealer and could get that in 3 weeks. Well another dealer, just a little farther away has an S that I could claim as early as Friday night. Im very temped to jump on that but them gotta justify the extra $5K plus being disloyal to my dealer....customer is always right tho..right? :)

I may go "look" at the S today lol

That makes a total of 4 TRI for Canada
And would be really surprised none are going in Ontario...:confused:
 
:D I just got a call from my dealer and he says my tri is in transit. If it gets released tomorrow I will get it Tuesday. If the release doesn't happen till Monday I should have it on Weds or Thursday.

SAWEET! :D

I don't know why I got moved up in line but I'll take it!

Yup didn't sound right to me....maybe the dealer is trying to sell the exclusivity of it.

I know Vancouver dealer got 35 allocated this year, gotta be at least one Tri in that order.
 
my dealer in edmonton got 8 total. 2 of which are tri's. i think 4 "s" and 2 standard. sorry for lack of a better word. " standard" , base just sounds bad for a bike that is going to kill the competition. ;)
