When "did" you take delivery? USA only

S/no ABS.

Being prepped as I type this. Dealer expects to use the bike as their launch show bike. I expect to pick it up on Saturday.
 
Got an email from my dealer today, and my baby 1199S has finaly arrived. Too bad i'm currently deployed to Afghanistan and have to wait another three weeks to lay eyes on her.

Any dealers in Los Angeles area have one for view? I don't need to ride, want to see in flesh.

I feel you Man. I am in Kuwait and have to wait another 3 weeks to pick mine up as well.
 
Mine is being used for the unveiling. Picking it up tomorrow. S ABS. My dealer has been great too. Kept me in the loop the entire time.. On the spot with the paperwork.
 
Once again, my dealer (AZSBK in Chandler AZ) has no clue, no bikes, and is trying my patience...I feel like I should have driven the hour to GoAZ in Scottsdale to pre order. The most recent news that my dealer told me is that he believes the Tricolore's will arrive first then the S, when I see most people in these forums in the US have a mix of Tri's and S models...I'm dying a little on the inside as far as my dealer is concerned.

They have one in Newport Beach...there is an unveiling party tonight. Still time to get down there!
 
Well, I got to see one today (Michigan)! Dealer isn't sure if it's mine as the paperwork hasn't arrived yet. So, as of now it's just the display model. They started it for me and very, very little white smoke was present so I was happy about that. It sounds amazing even with the stock cans. I was surprised by the comfort of the riding position! Anyway, I'm pumped. It's worth the wait for those of you who have been stressing a bit like me. Sorry for the crappy IPhone pic!

I just canceled on the 1199S no ABS. They are using this bike for the launch tonight and it can be bought and picked up at close of business tomorrow.

They had a Tricolore buyer cancel last week, and I switched to it. They expect it to come in, in a week.
 
AZSBK in Chandler "no clue" is nothing new. Getting mine from Tucson dealer and very satisfied. GOAZ only has a waiting list and they both have a party tonight!
 
I got to see one at one of the local dealers today. Damn, the pics just don't do this bike justice. It is beautiful. They wouldn't let me sit on it as it was a customer's bike. Makes the wait for mine that much more difficult.

My dealer told me there are not S ABS in the country yet! Damn liar ...

He told I would probably see mine in 2-3 weeks.
Can you send me pics of your S ABS so that I will kill him!!!

Just back from Sherbrooke. Sorry to tell you this but I just spent 2hours drooling over the beauty you're about to bring home;-)

The Tri never did it for me on pics and pamphlets but I have to admit that in the flesh it's the most beautiful bike I've ever seen! On pictures there's too much white where as in real life the colour contrasts are in a perfect balance.

Something nobody mentioned so far is that the overall finish is worlds better than the pre-production model they displayed at the bike show in feb.

On top of that the staff at the dealership are topnotch, we'll be very well served.

Congrats again, it took some balls to shell out the extra 10k for the Tri, so you deserve to be the first to get it.

Ordered mine in begining of January here in PA, my dealer says they are held up in customs because ducati sends with battery installed. Anyone else hearing this. Hope the 1199 comes soon I have a box o parts for her.

Yes ... My dealer told me this story for 3 weeks in a row, but now he's changing story ... I'm really close to cancel my order!
