When was the V2 introduced and have there been any changes over the model years?

In the market, love the white but trying to find a good deal. If that's even possible. Perhaps on a 2020 but the ones I'm finding are red.

2020 only - Unlikely you’ll find a deal after all the delays and closures this year.

same motor found in 959 an upgrade from the 899,
Palmetto Motorsports has one for sale 2 miles on it, brand new , $10,999.
Save yourself 6k and get a 899.

This is the truth!
I believe the 959 engine size increase for the Euro 5 emissions and decible restrictions....there is more power loss in the 959 than the 899 to the wheel. Overall the 899 is a better performer than the 959 and IMO looks better than the 959 and V2. V2 is a nasty mashup between the plain 2018-2019 V4 front and the 949 rear. As for all of the electronics package on the V2...yes this is is a huge update, but 100% not needed by any means with that engine. The bike is powerful enough to need the electronics package but rather a gimmick to sell an update and "new" bike. The thing that IS nice about the V2 is the single-sided swingarm and two-piece clutch cover over the 899. The 899 has folding mirrors and can easily swap pillion seat and the solo cowl without swapping the whole damn tail fairing.
