Well you two are boring lol. Jk. I own a hyper you rode one?

I ditched my 1199 base a few months ago and planned for a 2014 R. Glad I decided to wait. 2015 R for me

1199S ....hoping it comes in White/Tricolore or I'll wait for 2016 to see color schemes then. All my Ducs are white.

I want the 1299S but don't think I can wait as I just sold my KTM 1290 SDR to buy a 1199R and don't want to miss all of summers good riding waiting for a new bike.

The prices have been listed in a few different threads here regarding the 1299.

Pricing is already out:

1299 - $19,295 MSRP
1299S - $24,995 MSRP
Panigale R - $33,995 MSRP

1299 and 1299 S in RED only to start with.

I might be in the market in 2016 or 17 for used s or r

Or if Jello ever decides to sell his SL number 218

1299S for me... if I buy it April or September (my birthday) will depend on finances. Wife wants a family trip to Italy...

Planned on buying something like a Hypermotard to complement the 2014 1199s that I already have but I'm very tempted to trade in for the new Panigale as well as I reckon this update will be a big step up in terms of useability of the bike, whether the 1199s or the 1199R. I was looking for reasons to buy the R instead of S but it didn't seem to justify the price difference, I'm very interested to see how the two compare next year now, and also how they compare to the S1000RR and other competition.

Sticking with my 1199. Hell it's already enough bike for me to handle. I'm just happy that they didn't change the looks on the 1299 that much. I'm sure I'll get the itch in a few years.

I strongly suspect that the new bike will be easier to ride as that has been the main criticism of the current bike.

what are the differences not that it matters cause i am completely empty on new bike funds.

I'm really enjoying the 1199 base I just bought, if I should end up having the money, I'll likely buy a naked like a Monster 1200, SuperDuke R or Aprilia Tuono for the street and make the 1199 track/fun ride only

But as of right now, I'm not buying anything for 5 years :)
