I’d suggest trying a helmet on and sit there for 15 minutes. Uncomfortable pressure points will become noticeable.

I am working with the Shoie Rf1400, it was on your list but in Ducati graphics. To date it is probably my favorite helmet ever owned. I intended on moving back to Arai but after 10 years they feel cheap to me. The intake venting mechanisms have not changed since my first Arai back in the late nineteen hundreds. How could this be? Have there been no advances on 20 years? Or do they feel they just got it right the first time? Some will say to get what fits you best and this is true to a point. Most premium helmets are customizable to make the fit perfect. Shoie, you can buy each pad in 3 sizes. Arai, their padding is a leaflet style. You can take some out or put some in to make it fit perfect. This is just my .02$. also, Schuberth have always felt cheap to me, especially the modular. I wanted to like those helmets so bad but they aren't for me.

I got a good price for this one, and it does fit me well so that’s what I got!

I’ve a Shoei RF 1400 and it’s an excellent helmet !!I came from Arai Defiant but I like Shoei better as it’s much lighter .Arai and Shoei are both top helmets but you should try what fits you best .

With absolutely no wind protection, the helmet aerodynamics are of greatest importance on this bike. I've tested a lot of helmets on the SFV4 and only two are really stable at speed for me. Shoei X-fourteen/X-Spirit III and the AGV Pista/Corsa. All others buffet, lift or just push your head so hard against the wind that it's simply not acceptable. It's much easier to buy a helmet for a race bike, just pick the one that fits your head and your wallet and you're done.
