Well then add another 10% to that for tariffs on American made cars. Trump says all kinds of stupid schitt, he speaks off the cuff with no filter. Stop dwelling on what he says and pay attention to what he does. If you ask me it should all be zero.

You do realise that VAT is not a tarrif. It is a sales tax that all items are subject to regardless of where made. In Canada it is called PST and FST (provincial and federal sales tax).

Like I said, then add another 10% to that then. Meanwhile we only tariff EU cars 2.5%. Do you have to pay VAT on the tariffs too? Tax on a tax.

GOP is obscenely fiscally irresponsible and antithesis to law and order. The GOP’s motto is “Tax cuts for billionaires” and “Rules for thee but not for me.”

No one in Europe buys American cars because American cars are horrible to drive on smaller European roads. American cars are also less efficient and costing more in CO2 taxes. Even if the EU reduced the tariff, no one in Europe would buy an F150 or Suburban. American automakers don’t make a product that Europeans would buy. No one makes small-medium size hatchback or wagon. It’s only SUVs and crossovers which are asinine to buy.

Could you imagine filling up an F150 with EU gas prices? Each tank would be $220-250. As a comparison, it costs about $150 in America. It’s bananas that you’d be daily driving that gas guzzler.

Nope my F150 is usually right around $100. Less in Utah etc.
