Interesting to see similar speed, yet difference in RPM. V4 Base vs. V4R?

I run V4S. :) Max RPM may not have been at the time of max speed. I just wanted to have the winglets to see if they work, so went full on Alvaro Bautista on this. :D They do work, if you are as wheelie happy as I am!

The highest I recorded on the dash was 194 mph. If we subtract 5% it is 185 mph, which is probably what it is in reality. MotoAmerica hits 191 mph top.

There is something wrong about those top speed readings

That just don't sound right

Those are numbers for 6 gear bumping of the rev limiter

And I don't think it gets even close to that

Looks right to me. A lot of it depends on the gearing. I'm on a 1299 with a 41T rear sprocket (perfect for COTA imo) and hit 185-186 consistently on the back straight.

Yeah, it was super busy out there this last weekend. I think I bumped a high 2:21 once and never came close again. Mostly in the 23-25 range the rest of the time. Had to make some unnecessarily aggressive passes to hit that faster time. No need for that kind of riding on a trackday, so just backed it down a bit.

Those are some solid times there man. If you had some clear track, you would definitely have broken the 2:30 barrier. Just in case you haven't heard the news, Eleven Motorsports will be putting on their own event in September. They are limiting it down to less riders, so there should be more quality track time.

I will be skipping the RS event in August to run with Eleven Motorsports in September. Should be a pretty great event.

Resurrecting this a bit since I've recently received some additional news for the Eleven Motorsports event in September for COTA.

This event is going to be very limited and is invite only. There is a 100 rider max limit being imposed, which means waaaay less traffic and more quality track time. The ride groups will be intermediate, advanced and expert only. This is meant to be for slightly more seasoned track day riders. There will be no Level 1/Novice group available. Also, there will be 3 30min sessions (vs 4 20's for typical RS event) to avoid being rushed and give some time to come on/off track to make adjustments during a session.

That being said, I've been invited to assist as an Ambassador for the event to provide guidance/support/tips etc. and they have given me 10 invites to hand out to individuals of my choosing. I've already given a few out to folks who've be asking me already, but I have 6 left and thought I'd give some folks on here a shot at them if you hadn't already received an invite elsewhere and are interested.

Feel free to shoot me a PM for more info/questions or if you would like a slot. Should be a great event.
