Not as much as Rea does… He must be looking at Lowes on the green machine and wondering if he did the right thing.

Lowes has been on the ZX for 4 yrs and picked up Rea’s crew chief so not surprising that he’s doing well. The majority of the head of the field are racing their new bike for the first time.

Fair point regarding the riders being on new bikes to them, although two in particular did rather well despite that. My comment wasn’t really about Lowes.

I read that Kawasaki had made progress with regard to being able to manage tyre wear, which seemed to be a particular issue for Rea in the latter stages of races last year. I’ll be interested to see if this is the case in normal races (without a pit stop).

what a load of internet searching bollox......... given the race 1 winner was the first person ever to lap under 1.28 and he was racing his new bike for the first time.. !

I wonder if Topraks issue was a 180 click or a 360? i'll look see what the manual says or failing that what my internet expert says..?

Pretty sure V4 isnt new for him and he has had loads of time on it.

Also, he can surely brawl his way through the races, he won SSP season.
