Hey everybody,

today I spent a good 2hrs mounting the DP windshield...and I didn't even remove the front fairing!

I used the super glue methodology for the two front nuts. The old front nuts are currently wandering around my bike...but honestly I don't care.

The process of mounting back the mirrors was such a PIA as well, but at least the bike looks beautiful, I don't know how effective the tall shield is yet.

I hope the engineer who devised the front assembly gets fired (or on fire) tomorrow...

Next I will wrap the exhaust for unbearable heat when in leathers, any comments on wrapping both pipes or just the back one?

thx

Wrap just the rear one. If you do the front one, the excess of material will burn the lower fearing (I happened to me)

thanks for the tip, i was going to wrap the front one too, but will not now. I figure the diff in heat between the pipes should be minimal and not an issue in performance.

Pics would be good. I have the DP screen in a box next to my bike bit am not sure that its worth the hassle to fit as the profile doesn't appear to be that different from the std unit :)

Here are some pics of DP windscreen installed

I have the DP windscreen installed on my Panigale.

Please find pics attached.

I found that it gets easier fiddling with the mirrors after doing it several times for trackdays. Takes me about 15 minutes to remove or install both mirrors now. I am very inept mechanically.

would it of been quicker if you would have just removed the fairing?
