Our boy is doing good

Alvaro Bautista 25922.jpg

More special editions next year after he wins the championship
LOL, with the amount of money and resources Ducati has pumped into racing this year if they don’t win something, Gigi is going to cut his hair. Yamaha won what 3-4 championships last year with what Ducati spent on hospitality. They really need something this year. 4 rounds left for WSBK, AB should have this in the bag. They couldn’t get it done in motoamerica even with factory support and GP rider talent and damn with 6 fricken bikes in GP and Fabio is still in front? That ROI is starting to pinch a bit

For the record Ducati is by general consensus the best bike in MotoGP, its smashing WSBK and as for the Motoamerica goat tracks, well there is hometown advantage of knowing how to ride around potholes lol!
The days of one brand dominating outright without the best rider of the era are over, all the bikes are that good. I guess I am not as salty as you about the brand and I enjoy owning a bike from a tiny manu who is doing well. Our boy refers to a Ducati rider who just got the trifecta of Superpole and two races, plus he led for every lap during the weekend. Be happy Endo, its really not that bad 🤣

Did you watch the WSB coverage from Barcelona.........we have James Toseland here commentating. He does provide an obvious insight into the goings on, but I wish he would STFU regarding ducati power advantage every time one went down the Barcelona straight......even Topraks boss a UK guy was bleeding about it.
It was even funny when they focused on Bassani as he moved out and passed RAE only for RAE to come back past him ... yeah huge advantage!
They all have the same rules and the same tyres available to interpret....simples! get yourself a lighter rider, and build a more competitive bike!

Herrin...

In MotoAmerica it sure seems like that V4RS doesn't like those dunlop tires. Anyone else have thoughts on that?

Yep, a seasoned SBK champion dropped down a class and factory support to do it. Not brand bashing, I build and ride the brand just inquisitive as to why a company who puts everything into the effort struggles endlessly. 72 years of GP racing and the brand has 1 world title. A bit strange

I wasn't suggesting you were bashing at all. 🍻

Gagne deserves the MotoAmerica championship for sure, but I am hoping Petrucci sticks around next season and seeing the results difference now that he has some experience on the tracks here.

Two more rounds in BSB? Bridewell can still take the championship on a Ducati.

Stoner has his own theory as to why Ducati hasn't taken the Riders Championship:

I swear it seems like Ducati is cursed when it comes to racing. It's like they just can't catch a break. Just when you think they do catch a break when Fabio smashes Marquez, the next week Pecco is floundering in 7-10th all race, then the last lap happens 🤦

Not just this year, or in Motogp either. There was 2019 Bautista. Then there was pikes peak with the new street fighter and Carlin Dunne. Had a 10+ second lead, then the last corner happened. That was a really sad accident. I had been watching his YouTube videos leading up to the race, and he seemed like a really likeable guy. Then there was Dovi finishing 2nd to Marc 3 years in a row, then when Marc injures himself, he finishes 5th in the standings. And now we're back to "our boy" Pecco....

If you chuck enough mud at the wall some of it will stick, heres hoping AB wins the WSBK title as he should have done in 2019 but I am not holding my breath, Toprak and Rea will not give up.

It's easy to criticize on the sideline, so I'm joining in ;P hahaha. I'm really curious what their deal is because I see it like this:
IMHO - they seem to revolutionize everything, get all new pilots.
1st half of the season, everyone is in chaos trying to sort it out. Finally half way through, they sort it out. Start winning. Blowing the doors off.
4 wins in a row. Stuff of myths & legends. Real David Goliath fights. They get right up to match leaders who've plugged along in 2nd-3 place consistently every race.
Ya, then last corer, biff. Second place for the year.
Next year, repeat. New pilots.
I mean WTF. There seems to be issues with scientific approaches and small steps to stabilize an investment.
Jack Miller the latest on the list of guys finally getting up to speed. No, throw him out, get another one.
Bastionini on GP21 has been out accelerating Pecco on his GP22. Now they're going to give Bastionini a GP23.
Good luck dude.
Every year for 10 years.
Stoner "I feel bad." Ducati "Ok get out."
Stupid moves.
How do you get rid of Stoner who just won you your only championship? How the F' do you think a thing like that? "We'll get another one" crossed someone's lips.
That was 2007.

Ducati DID win the constructor‘s championship w 5 rounds to go so it’s not that bad of a bike. The problem is that they have 5 competitive riders all vying for points. For example, Bastianni “stole” 5 points from Pecco in Aragon. You don’t see Morbidelli taking points off Fabio on the Yamaha side. The problems lies in the fact that the Factory slots aren’t there for cultivating riders. Upper management demands the best of the best all the time. Casey is a bit weak kneed so I’m not surprised he couldn’t cope with the pressure. Once Ducati realized they had a championship winning bike, they hammered Casey to win. But at least it’s not KTM. They seem to chew riders up and spit them out.

Doesn’t Bautista have something like a 45 point lead in WSBK? If Bangnia could at least finish every race he enters they’d be doing really good in MotoGP, if not leading.

Think it's 60 points or thereabouts in WSBK, but Rea seems willing to go kamarqueze this season... maybe he always was and we just didnt know

Morbidelli needs to at least be in the same zip code to have a shot at taking points off of Q
