Hey everyone,

I inquired to Yoshimura to see if they're planning on making an exhaust the 1199 (NO RESPONSE YET). I've had their exhaust on previous bikes and really like them. They made/make them for other Ducati's.

I haven't received a response to my inquiry but was wondering if anyone knows anything. It just seems that 3 choice's for after market exhausts kinda sucks in my opinion...(don't tell me about Austin's, I've been teased enough...my penis went limp 8 weeks ago when I ran out of Viagra)...

Thanks :D

Would be interesting to find out.

I have checked with Leo Vince and they told me they have no plans making one:mad:

OFFICIAL,

Yoshimura called today (very nice by the way, they could have just emailed back) and said they are NOT working on an exhaust for the 1199 and aren't planning on making one... :(

Kinda bummed...

Hello Mitch,

Thank you for your interest in the Yoshimura products. As a fellow Ducati rider, I understand where you are coming from for the Panigale exhaust. Yoshimura has tried with some European brands in the past (including Ducati) that have not had good results. So Yoshimura is doing a lot of market research in selecting what models and brands they make exhausts for very carefully.
We do realize that the Panigale series is a good seller for Ducati, but not a lot of true Ducatisti want to use a Yoshimura exhaust on their bike.
I hope this helps you with your question.

Thank you,

Termi and Akra have the Ducati market locked down pretty tight. I could only see the Yosh being attractive to guys who have ridden Japanese bikes with those pipes for a while and are just now making the switch.

i always thought Leo Vince would be a player in the Ducati aftermarket exhaust business. it's disappointing to not have one for the panigale.

Akras are well made but pricy. More supplier in the market place hopefully will bring the prices down to a more competitive level. Exhaust system equaling 15% of your bike's retail cost is steep.

My buddy has a set on his 1098 and they look/sound great and price was inline with a normal sport bike. I had Yoshi on my F4i, 600RR, and 1000RR and always loved the quality. Termi's don't really give me a boner, and I'd rather spend the $4k on a commuter bike...

It was worth asking

I too wouldn't expect Yoshimura to make an exhaust for the Pani but even more bummed out that Arrow or Leo Vince never made an system for the Pani.

Now countless thousands of bikes later, Yoshi still hasn't made an exhaust. They said "they don't sell enough Pani's to justify the cost for r&d"...

How about now Yoshi???

This may be a possible option soon.

Maybe.

I think it looks cool BUT I'd add that more of a slant cut in the tip would make it look even more slick
