Always a good topic to peruse, so get those pics up

Simple idea:

I'll start things moving....

All Shiny and Purchased New

My learner scoot after passing my test in 1992:

Here's a few I've had over the past 5 years or so..

I had to "borrow" the 1989 EX500 picture because as you said it was before the digital age, lol.
After that was a great 1996 CBR600 Smokin' Joe which was custom painted not the Honda version.
Next came the 2001 GSXR 750. Might have been my favorite until the 1199.
Next was a not so favorite, the 2005 GSXR 750. Too long seat to bar reach.
Then Ducati came into the garage, 2001 996. tear...snivel... I miss the 996.
Again another too long a reach was the 2010 1098.
And finally we come to the great anticipated 1199s!!!

Ok I'm going to give this a go. Only have a couple of actual pics on my pc, most predate the digital era so will have to get some scanned later and edit.

The bike I learned on and that gave me the bike bug, belonged to my neighbour. I was about between 10-13 years old and rode it more than he did ;-)Same as shown in red. Honda 50cc Monkey bike.

My first owned bike which I got in about 1984 , '78 DT 125

My first new bike in 86 a Honda CR125R, had it for many years even took it to Holland with me while I was at Uni.

During the next few years no more new bikes but we added a few 2nd hand ones along the way. This was before people realised 3 wheelers were exceptionally dangerous and they switched to Quads. School friend ended up in a coma for 3 weeks after flipping his 250R.



Then got my first in a series of Honda CR250R's, in total I had 5, the last of which an 07 I still have.

I then got my road licence , quite late I supose. This was my first Monster a 695 Dark. on the pic only with termis but I also had the carbon bikini and seat cover on it later, plus rear sets etc.

I also had at the same time, for a few months, a 900.also black but with a red frame.

Then I switched to a new 848 when it came out.

This was my Garage this morning, still have a CR250, a Raptor 660 Quad, 848 and of course my Pani. The Ducati 3 wheeler belongs to my daughter, and the banged up Kawasaki on the lift belongs to a friend i support/help with his racing.

left them alone for ages once i past my car test, then i took my direct access about 9 yrs ago and bought this, a zx6r 2002 plate, had it about 18 months




Next up was another kawasaki zx6, this time the b1h 636 version, this was stolen from my garage.



So to my 1st 1000cc GSX1000R 2003, again stolen from a friends house.



Moved to Devon to live and bought my next one from down there as a treat to myself. 2003 R1 , never got on with it and i only kept it a year or so



Took the R1 for a service and walked out the dealers with this!! 2006 Kawasaki zx10r my favorite IL4 by a country mile! took me to the Isle of Man TT ..loved it.





Moved back up to loughborough, and happened to come across this in a dealers, Honda was the only one of the big IL4,s i hadnt had so i got it.



Never really got on too well with the Honda, i think basically id had my fill of IL4,s for the while and nothing really beat the zx10r so i decided to come off sports bikes for a while and try something different, so i got this this, great fun to ride without the breakneck speed.






Had the speed little under 2 yrs, before i picked up my Panigale, always promised myself either a ducati or MV at some point and when i saw the 1199 i knew this was that point.
