The heat shield that came with my Pani 2013 is just so damn ugly. What can I do about it? I want a CF one but is this wise? Does it replace the entire unit or is it a cover that goes over it? If one is recommended, where should I get it from? What have others done? Cheers

Maybe somebody else had this issue as well (I thought I read about it in this forum). If you have a CF or ceramic heat shield installed, it might happen that you loose one or even all mountings screw while riding. I guess this is basically due to mechanical movements caused by temperature...

Not everyone is crazy about the larger style CF heat shield. My dealer doesn't know much about the recall since I have the receipt to get it done, so I thought I would try here. NIB never installed CF smaller version heat shield.
