If you do get it at some point, get the Suter. It’s the same as the Brembo I have but half the cost. The PS 13,is way overpriced. The Suter is 400 and change. Still pricy but it fixes things at the rear and is nice on the eyes

Once I figure it out I will be getting that master with custom lines to fit these products.

Yea don’t buy this. I wasn’t smart and didn’t bother to look for an alternative when I got the Brembo. Great setup but Not at all better than the Suter at half the cost

Ilmberger instrument cover

In a effort to get rid of all the plastic on the bike I got this cover.
50047272308_930dcbf600_c.jpg

I wanted to add a little touch so I got the Ducati Corse emblem 43819771A to put on it.
50048376106_e1c1294c9d_z.jpg

Remove the factory cover.

I found it much easier to install the carbon piece with the headlight removed. Its such a tight fit be sure to tape up the carbon so the fairing stay doesn't scratch it up.
The emblem is domed so I flattened it a bit and used better 3m adhesive.

Let the adhesive cure and voila.
49796084137_bc939d10bd_c.jpg

Now put it back together.

Can you share what windscreen bolts are used? I really want to find some black ones for mine.

Cheers,
Jimmy

This is a Very CLEAN SHARP look.
Also, your paint correction and ceramic coating skill really shows by that wet reflection on the paint surface !!!
Very NICE HKMP7 !!!

I can't install my Ducati Corse emblem like yours though, since my windshield came with a Ducati Corse Sticker from the factory, yes, sticker not emblem which then covered on top by another sticker (the foggy sticker)...
I wonder how it will look if I put the Ducati Corse emblem on that GPS square hole cover... I already have the Ducati Corse emblem and the Ilmberger Carbon Cover, just forgot to test fit them, until I saw your picture above...
well, worse case maybe I put a smaller Ducati Corse sticker (not emblem) on the GPS square hole cover (in case the square cover is too small for the Ducati Corse emblem)

Thanks again for the picture.

Keeping with the theme of going overboard, check out the FullSix fairing stay.

Thanks the crazy thing is the bike hasn’t been washed in months. That coating keeps it looking awesome.

Trust me you have seen overvboard ha. This one is mild. Im not going to change the fairing stay. I’m keeping it reminds me of the 999R fairing stay.
Amazing work @HKMP7, thank you for sharing all of this!!!
Thanks for the kind words. Hopefully you found it entertaining and helpful.

Apex Racing development switch

The theme of jazzing up the cockpit continues with this custom Start/Run switch. I wanted something simple light weight and customize-able. So I got this and they swapped around the colors for me.
Even comes standard with ti bolts. (
You know how much I love ti dress up bolts) The buttons are all mil spec gold contacts etc. I had them use the same braided mesh loom that originally comes on the bike so it looks factory.

On to the install.
I started with noting where the factory rubber cable ties are located. Remove them to create some slack to remove the throttle.
49854845843_bfac574b5d_c.jpg

Remove the throttle you will need that tri star bit.

To get the Start/Run switch off you will either need the ducati special tool part# 887134967 or equivalent. I used a thin flathead screw driver.
49854846128_a25c6d6d4e_c.jpg

Dont forget to unplug this connector
49855685797_bff44e5c98_c.jpg

On the new switch the connector sits underneath the battery cover. Here is how I did the loom.

To aid in installation you should remove the tank and loosen the rear subframe. I also removed the front sprocket cover. A bunch of tedious stuff but it helped a lot.

Hi HKMP7,
That is very nice and the gold heat shield remind me of the old McLaren F1 engine bay heat shield :D
By the way, you mention above that this is the Ver.2, What is the differences between Ver.2 and Ver.1?
Thanks
