Has anyone used the UpMap on a 2020 V4 yet? I just bought an Arrow Slip-on and waiting to see if UpMap is coming out with a Slip-on map. As of today, they only have the full system map for the 2020 V4.

Can someone please advise.

The 2020 V4 ECU has new programming vs the old one from what I've been Reading. Maybe it's just the EVO 2 programming in the 2020 V4 edition.

Does anyone have more information on the topic?

I'm surprised upmap for the 18/19 dont work on the 2020.

There were definitely other changes although have not seen anybody elborate or compare a dyno of 2020 against earlier. But all of the journalists reported the 2020 is tamer, easier to ride, and pretty sure somebody mentioned the throttle was a bit smoother at lower revs. While this improves ride-ability, including on the track coming out of turns, some didn't like it preferring the previous more aggressive throttle response. Go back a month or two and check out some of the Utubes from journos at the track release.

My comment was more around same physical engine/intake/exhaust so fuel tables really shouldn't have changed in 2020 and upmap should only be overwriting the fuel table and maybe the timing.

ArcticWhite, did you get the EVO2 software and T-800 upmap installed together ?

If so what process did you follow to do this and did everything work out ok ?

Power, quickshifting, etc ?

Thanks

I did not. What ive heard is that you would have to apply the evo2 after the upmap. Supposedly the evo2 update will think the upmap is the akra map and leave it alone, but this is all hearsay.

I emailed up-map, and they advised it shouldn't need reinstalling after EVO2 upgrade. But they also said there would be no harm reinstalling the T800 afterwards if required.

SLR is an alternative to Brentune btw. I've no experience with either, but both offer a very similar looking hand held device.

after Installing the Termignoni T800 UpMap my bike quickshifter is not smooth when using the quickshifter from 1st gear to 2nd gear and 2nd gear to 3. Bike has arrow slip on. Anyone have this issue before?

Just reloaded the map today

will ride it néxt weekend to see if it is back to normal

Has it helped you with the issue? Also when you reinstall the map do you first have to upload the original map then the t800 UpMap?

Tire calibration fixed the issue. Bike runs smooth now

I calibrated the tire and I still get lag when quick shift between 1-2 gears. I feel like the ignition kill time between shifts is too long. Should I just try and reinstall the original map? Wanted to see if that would make any difference. Would that damage my bike if I run the stock map with arrow slip ons? Thanks!
