What kind of gas are you all running? Gas stations here carry vp which I always ran in my race jet skis while I was on tour so I’m a huge fan. At the station here they have 110 unleaded by cam2, what are your thoughts for the v4 that’s tuned with exhaust with sprit filter.

Um, 93 octane is fine. I guess 224hp or 231hp stock is not enough???

I’ve noticed that many of your posts are arrogantly negative and sarcastic. Some of them are actually funny and/or poignant, but many aren’t. Is there some reason you seem to feel you’re the arbiter of “reasonable” mods, or that you seem so interested in how other people mod and use their bikes?

did I say anything that it wasn’t enough power? Nope, sure you can run it on 93 and stock it’s mapped for that, but when u start messing with it, that goes out the window. Have you ever built an engine that needed better fuel requirements?? I know my answer with your response. I love how .... tards answer when they don’t have a real answer, you idiots need...... a good old time slap from a grown man.

You obviously never ran a good oxygenated fuel before...

Especially one w a heavy dose of MTBE

Its hard on some plastic fuel system parts. Has to be stored in a sealed metal container at all times. The container can’t have any air at the top so it’s not like you can order a 55 gallon drum of it. Forced to buy 5 gallon pales. I use five 1 gallon metal acetone pales to break the vp down soon as the seal is cracked. Went to Home Depot and bought 5 gallons of acetone so I can store the ..... The DEA showed up at my pad a week later. They were convinced I was making meth. The fuel stinks when raw as pointed out but it really stinks coming out of the pipe. Opposite of vp c-44 which smelt like perfume the mtbe fuels smell like burnt ass. Tank has to be drained after each ride and whatever doesn’t fill a acetone pale gets pitched.

It’s sorta a PITA lol and I have no idea what it will do the injectors Ducati uses but I am gonna find out : )

I got as much Renegade fuels 110 leaded as I could last time I was at the track. Not changing up my tune or expecting performance increases, just jumped at the chance to run leaded (my O2 sensors are removed due to running the T800 UpMap, so no issues there) to make my valves happy.

Yes I have, race engines

Ti rods. 13:1 Compression ratio. Massive Ti valves. Huge ports. Damn near .700” lift cam. Separate lobe and rocker to help close the valves so ya don’t hardly have to run any seat pressure at all and Arguable semi dry sump oiling system.

Sounds kinda racey to me : )

The DEA showing up at Dons place sounds about right but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t for anything related to internal combustion engines.
