I’m sure others can provide a more concise synopsis for you than I can as I do not have a lot of time on them however to me they are on par with steel depending on pads and these particular rotors show no wear. They mic the same as when they were new.

There were available 15 years ago and Jeff has not been able to get the ceramic discs its been about 10 years no so they will never be available again. Even if a used set pops up for sale your looking at $2500-$3000. Better off just getting his new SS superbike rotors or Iron which everything uses same carriers.

Considering that you can get carbon brakes for a Subaru, it’s a joke that these things have not made their way to top shelf OEM bikes. Some people swear by a rotor (T-Drive, Breaktech, TK etc). Blindfolded, you’ll never know the difference. Just pick the one you think looks best. Braketech CMC or Sicom, different story. Amazing stuff. Coupled with CF wheels like the package Tadashi posted, and as I’m sure he can attest is quite a transformation. If you can find a set of CMCs, grab them. If not, get the Sicoms. Prices are going up.

Back to the wheels (cuz some people on here will freak the .... out if anyone goes off on any tangent whatsoever : ) has anyone else noticed that the center spacer in the MarCheesy wheels is too wide?

I have a set of the OZ mags and the March M7s and have played with 4 different sets of rotors and a few sets of forks and I have had to modify some spacer every time to get a perfect wheel center and rotor center. Everything is just a little bit different. That’s is of course if you are anal enough to look at it that closely. Pads, I use the z04 on everything. 1,I have a bunch of them and 2, my calipers have a limited selection of available pads.

With the center spacer being so wide the bearings can not possibly end up in the same location from wheel to wheel

For everyone that wants the real correct weights on the Marchesini wheels here you go this is with bearings no rotors.

The stock S/R wheels will be within a few ounces of the forged aluminum wheels.

Front- 7.99 lbs
Rear-10.88 lbs

Forged magnesium
Front- 6.04 lbs
Rear- 7.76 lbs
