Just did a morning at the local drags, won $60 for 1st place and managed some good times.

White base with Termignoni slip ons, that's all.

10.503 @ 143 MHP and on the back wheel the entire 1/4 mile.

Many were impressed.

...., I'm impressed. Great job and congrats! Stock gearing too?

Any S1000RR's there so we can gloat over Kuroshiro? Haha

And that's with the standard swing arm;)
No Membrum Virile extensions needed in the back end:D

Nice how much do you weigh, and did you go through in 4th gear? Were you feeding it any back brake to keep the front down in first and second?
I didn't get a chance to flog mine through the 1/4 because of our sprint car schedule. Waiting for the strip to get going again up here.

85kg, 5ft 5 in, just feathered the throttle in 1st, 2nd then opened wide and hung on for the ride, front wheel hovered at a foot or so above the ground, tried to get weight over the front wheel but to no avail. Race mode DTC on 4 couldnt be bother playing with settings, just rode it as its out of the crate.

14 tooth sprocket on front for gearing, hitting 4th on line.

Had a few bikes with wheelie bars out there HD screaming Eagle V Rod things that in different class that were on the 9.7-10.2. would love to put a wheelie bar on bike to see what it could do. Might even soften up rear shock next time, however 140MPH wheelies are cool!!!!

Thanks for the praise.

Cycle World ran a 9.91 1/4 mile on a stock S in their 2012 Sportbike Shootout, as well as a 9.71 on a stock R in their comparo feature with the HP4.

2013 Sportbike Comparison- BMW HP4 vs. Ducati 1199 Panigale R

They always have a ringer on board, it used to be Pee Wee Gleason, lived on coffee and cigarettes, weighed nothing and really knew how to get a stock bike off the line. a 10.0 is damn impressive for a guy weighing in at 187 lbs.

I will do my best to get it lower next time, cold track, no VHT laid and cold tyre, DTC set and was enjoying doing wheelies the entire straight. Could have softened the rear but was interested as it came out of the box times.

Would really love to see what a Panigale could do with a wheelie bar. Great times, looking forward to your next runs.
