I do not think a stock 1199 has done a sub 10????

i have run a 9.9 with stock 1199, The bike does have a tuneboy ecu however we didn't do a full tune on the bike, it was just a very quick tune and was mainly added to speed up the quickshift and add cruise control to the bike.
I normally around the 10.0-10.3 mark but for one run i hooked it all up and broke into the 9's. FYI before the tuneboy my quickest time was a 10.0

I run in RACE MODE, on 195Low (i found with 195HI the bike just wheelies way to much in 1st and 2nd gear) and DTC off

here is the dyno graph after the tuneboy was added (no other mods, everything else is still stock)

Wow!

Just did a morning at the local drags, won $60 for 1st place and managed some good times.

White base with Termignoni slip ons, that's all.

10.503 @ 143 MHP and on the back wheel the entire 1/4 mile.

Many were impressed.

As am I! Great show mate!

Might have a play for next time, thanks for your input, fast time for basically a factory stock bike!!!!!!

They always have a ringer on board, it used to be Pee Wee Gleason, lived on coffee and cigarettes, weighed nothing and really knew how to get a stock bike off the line. a 10.0 is damn impressive for a guy weighing in at 187 lbs.

Agreed, a 10 second run is still very good, especially for riders over 180 lbs. It should be clear, though, that the stock Panigale is capable of throwing down sub 10 second quarter mile times. I find it extremely impressive that this bike, which features superior cornering capability to other liters, can generate straight line speeds in the 1/4 mile that are on par with the strongest I4s.

had another crack at it again last night

9.905 sec @ 136.36mph

oddly my mph is down 9mph. Run 3 more 9.9sec runs but that was my best. Don't think there is anymore in here stock, might look at getting some straps for the front now lol

Waw.. congrats ... :)
14 front sprocket is not stock.. adding some teeth is the best bang for the buck upgrade anyone can do... :)

Running again this weekend, set sag and softened the suspension slightly, will do the change to race low and turn off DTC, the track has been prepped with VHT as there I is the last points race of our season her in NZ before winter, so will be cool to see some big HP cars doing some runs. Wish me luck!!!

My ticket does not scan well, but my best time from my first was 10.6101 @ 141.42MPH

I have some videos of how hard it is to keep under control off the line and through gear shifts.

My last dyno (note SAE not STD):

I wanna take mine to the 1/4 as well. I'm just worried about take off and switching to 2nd. Was thinking maybe shifting early and not to redline so it doesn't lift.I have my bike with DTC off and its interesting. :)

I tried short shift also and it just lifted the front in 2nd and stayed there till 4th LOL. I say go do it. I also just did a track day with the Ducati club and what a blast, 260k at the end of the Ruapuna straight, I use to manage 245k on my old race bike, the best handling bike I have ever owned, just love riding it!!!

There isnt a 1/4 mile track anywhere close to me but there is a 1/8 mile near. as you can imagine, the panigale is completely useless in the 1/8th lol...kinda depressing because i turn some good times out there even compared to the stretched stock 1000's. i would love to see if i could beat the 10 second mark. anyone ran the 1/8th? if i remember correctly my best time was a 6.2 or something like that....couldnt keep the wheel down. right when i get into third and come up on 4th, the track is over lol...

i actually ran a 6.6 on my 13 hyper. stock. right after 2nd gear the 1o00's would fly by me right at the finish lol...
