1199 Panigale Mirrors : FAR/Moto-Science mirrors from Italy

the largest of the three (very similar in size to the OEM mirrors) i ended up returning. the medium sized ones (#7388, my apologies if i said otherwise) i decided to keep, and like very much.

thanks,

-- i'm going to end up trying the shortest ones - i just cannot get comfortable with the crg bar end mirrors, even though for functionality (full wide rear view without moving your head) they are the absolute best i have ever used

-- there are a few things that "bug me" about them - 1st, the appearance on the bike from the start...they just screw with my overall perception of how the duc should look ---- 2nd, they make me feel like i am guiding an aircraft wing, or i have training wheels on (which of these i don't exactly know for sure....but its one of them for sure) ---- last but not least, my gloves bump into them, just about every time my hand moves........annoying !! :)

my thoughts of the aesthetics pertaining to the CRG Arrows (on the Pani) are very much in line with yours....and that is, that they don't belong. ;)

+1 - it isn't a café racer or monster. I don't know why people are hating on the Rizomas. I just got mine installed last weekend and love them. The signals are nice and bright too!

Its all a matter of taste. I like the Rizoma's too but just didnt want them on my bike nor all the headache of literally having to wire them up myself. Why in the world wouldnt Riz just put the plug and play connectors on their stuff?

This is my third set of Moto Science mirrors and I swear by them!

True..that would be easier to have a version for each bike, but as PJ explained Rizoma just doesn't work that way. Rather than produce one for each they made a "universal" version and then just make different mounts and connectors. I'll check yours out when we meet up next.

what Gunny says above is the exact reason why i didn't go for the Rizomas either....i wanted a plug and play solution and didn't care for the "fanciness" that the Rizoma mirrors represent.

I can appreciate that. I had some apprehension as well about cutting wires and jumping through hoops that could be deemed unnecessary. Do the moto science mirrors store the connectors and wires in the base like the stock ones do? That's one thing I love about the stock design.

the FAR mirrors are plug and play (connectors are wired) but the plugs/wires are not stored/housed in the base of the mirrors but in the channel inside of the fairing.
