Im sure it is, but from pictures the is no logo and the exhaust looks a little different. All it says is ti.

It is on the Panigale R the 1199R has termis. There is a pic in the 1299 details thread.

Guessing the DP slip ons will be Akra too?

Not sure. Ive been told the 1299s will have the Akra slipons and then been told not happening. Guess ill find out when i pick it up.

I guess whatever exhaust it has is going to have the butterfly valve/flapper valve for noise compliance,

The same valve and servo motor that is in a box on my garage floor,

1299 and S have a steel exhaust that is the same diameter and similar structure to the Akra on the SL, but it is not an Akra.

Panigale R has a street-legal full-ti (except the headers) Akra exhaust.

No other exhaust is included with any of them, but a full-ti Akra racing exhaust is available as an accessory.

Without reading the previous replies to this thread and not knowing if anybody brought this up or not before. I'm curious as to how the Panigale R will be delivered from the factory will they continue to deliver the bike with the OEM exhaust on it and then include the Akra in a box like they did for 2013 or 2014. Or do you think Ducati will do what BMW did for the HP4 and supply the bike with the full system on it but with a catalytic converter where you would need to replace a single pipe? I would imagine it will be like 2013/2014. Just wondering if you all had an idea. I know BMW did it that way to cut costs, and we all know in this day companies are always looking to cut corners.

Okay, so it appears the guy above me answered the questions. For $34,000 you still don't get a true full system. What a shame.

Price range???? Please :D:cool::eek:

OO - Im wondering if the current aftermarket akra exhaust will fit? And the 2014 1199r seems better to me at that point. 35k and no full ti exhaust.

What does a "true full system" mean to you? It's true that the bike doesn't come with an extra racing/non-street-legal exhaust. But the homologated one on the bike is the same that the Superleggera had, it's a full titanium system with steel headers (for heat reasons). It's a very light, very free-flowing exhaust, one of the best supplied as standard on any production motorcycle in the world.

Price is still being determined. The Pani R stock system is full ti, with the exception of steel headers because steel manages the intense heat at the exhaust port better than ti. Same as the Superleggera.

So its the same exhaust from the SL! Awesome Sauce

Sounds like the Full Ti Akro will be optional with the R from what I gather here.

I expected that the slip-ons/full could be included with the price on the 2015 models like our 2012-2014 1199s but not surprised that they are not.

I agree :D

Exhaust on the Standard and S are really good, too - the same design and diameter, just made in steel instead of ti, and not by Akra.

Yeah the not by Akra part is the issue. So there will be 2 exhaust purchase options if I am understanding correctly? Will they offer a full ti header set also to buy or just the R exhaust?

The header pieces are a few inches long. All the rest of the tubes are ti on the Panigale R.

There will be an accessory ti exhaust available, also made by Akrapovic, which is not street-legal (lacks emissions stuff). This will fit all three bikes - the 1299, the 1299 S, and the Panigale R.

Will Ducati continue to support Termignoni?

Do you know if Ducati Performance will offer Termi or Akra (or both!) slip ons with the associated UPMAP as on the 1199?
