2012 when i saw the panigale and the supersport model i was def going to copy the supersport look especially with the full aluminum tank, i heard you can get it done for 450 dollars, things came up and i couldnt purchase the duc quite yet and interestingly to see the r came out looking exactly like the supersport! so NO you didnt copy you actually did it first ! i will buy the R hopefully because the price is justified. pani s is $24,000 full exhaust is $3500 plus installation and your looking at 27,500 count in the goodies that comes with the bike if sold seperately and the ti rods and whatever and your looking at 33,000 or up.... so i rather go R! but if i had the S i would of done exactly what you did

the man!

No matter what graphics you have on the bike, all those gummy boogers on the side of your rear tire clearly indicate you aren't just some dude trying to pose.

good eye antihero and i think ducati owes you alot for showing the world what the bike can do from coast to coast and im loving the rev it jacket will buy one soon!

Play nice boys

Except for Mr. Sprinkles' penis envy, it's been a very civil and constructive thread. :)

I'm going with the majority and keeping my schema for now. If someone shows up with an R model and out rides me, then he or she can give me crap about it.

if you like it, keep it...
personally, i'm not to keen on the Corse sticker on the R...
too low, adds nothing to me..

but that is taste..

I think it looks good Dr S. I tried to get the same kit out here in Australia and also one of their custom mats. But the guy would not post such a heavy parcel.

I hear you Koen - I like the subtle styling hints for keeping the stock plastics. However, If I ever decide on some Carbon race fairings, I would look at doing something retro and less subtle - similar to your Roche rep idea.
