I once had a $25,000 SV650 race bike. That's way stupider than having a $65,000 Superleggera track bike.
Once I replace all the parts and paint it up nobody will ever know it's an SL
Until they HEAR it!!
Got the suspension for the SL from Jon Cornwell today! Going to test it this weekend at Hastings Nebraska!
Sweet! I got that MWR big ram air kit installed on my 899 today and it was a breeze, so that will be no problem to throw yours on the SL tomorrow too!
The next Limited Ducati superbike will have carbon wheels stock.
Only if Marchesini makes them. Their Italian corporate loyalty runs deep.
Not sure who's wheels but Claudio Domenicali said watch this space when asked about carbon wheels two weeks ago.
Well then, I obviously vote for RotoBox RBX2. 1.4 pounds lighter than BSTs, and they could save on shipping because RotoBox is in Slovenia so they can box the wheels up with the Akrapovic systems and save on shipping.
We'll see if design trumps absolute performance when Ducati decides.

OMG there's not going to be enough air for the rest of the bikes once we go by! There's a tornado joke in here some where but its just to risky to joke about that in Nebraska.........
