Finally an update. A Couple members have been kind enough to sell me parts I need. All I need is fairings now. Damn eBay dude is taking his time making more so I might have to fork over for some armor bodies unless someone else comes through. Going to weigh it and start stripping all the street stuff off tomorrow.
 



stripped all the street stuff off. just need to pull the abs and emissions crap. rear sets are installed.
 
I am in the same situation as u Jake. Maybe a little ahead due to a track day this weekend. I have a subframe but opted to use OEM due to time. I do like how you are planing to tuck the DDA harness behind the fairing. It is a bear having to take off the armour bodies tail just to plug/unplug. Not sure if u have the GPS, but I am currently trying to find a good spot for the motoholders front stay.
I also went with T-Rex sliders as someone else mentioned. I have WoodCraft axle sliders and bar end sliders as well. Same as u on the WoodCraft rearsets.

Got the bodywork used. Not complete removing decals. Low on the priority list. It started out as an R. I got a used tank from a member on here. Just worked out everything was white. Not big on the white but it is a track bike and it is growing on me.

I am trying to post picks...not sure if it is my post count but it is awaiting approval from mod.
 
How bad was the heat shield to get off? I am assuming (due to other posts) it helped greatly by removing sub frame.
 


Forgot to update this. Bike is done for now. I did road America and had a blast. The bike and myself need some work. Blawkhawk farms is in 2 weeks. Also it now weighs 393 with a full tank
 
Question or questions rather: how tall are you, what rearsets are you running and do your knees even touch that stomp grip?

The 6'1 explains it.. I'm 5'9 and my knees are miles away from the tank w stock rearsets and Rizoma pegs.. I was just curious because I'm looking for rearsets w the most up and fwd I can get..
 
Yea I have them as far up as u can and it's too high for me so I'm gonna bump it down a hair.
