Hey all, so I have a 14' Ducati 1199 R which is a track only bike with 2200 miles (Here in Northern California, and never tracked in the rain). Besides changing the oil, filter, coolant, bleeding the clutch/brakes, replacing brake/clutch fluid. Can I get some recommendations on what maintenance I should do on the bike? Looking at the manual it looks like the intervals are spread pretty wide apart which I assume is for normal street riding.

Let me know what all you racers and track only people do with your Panigale's!

For track bikes, I would change the oil every other weekend of extremely hard riding, sometimes as long as 6 days on the track (so every 4-6 days), including filter. Every tire change, I would remove the pads and clean the calipers, usually using simple green spray, then dipping in a bucket of water, and drying off, then reinstall, this removed the brake dust that would build up, and prevent causing a stuck piston on the brake calipers.

Change brake fluid every 6-20 days on the track, depending on how recent, but at least at the beginning of the season and mid-way through the season. Brake pads when about 3/4 wore to make sure I had plenty of bite at the longest.

Maybe every 20 days on the track (or once a year), I would change plugs.

Cleaned the air filter at each oil change as well, inspecting the air box for any oil.

Change the coolant usually every 20 days, or once a season. If the bike got exceptionally hot, I might do it mid-way through the season.

In terms of bike specific stuff, I will let others chime in, but that was the stuff I would do for 'general' maintenance.

wow your intervals are much higher than mine, I do:

* Oil /w filter change every 2-3 trackdays
* Brake fluid flush every 2 trackdays
* Clean air filter every 2 days
* Clean chain with wd40 and grease every 4 trackdays
* Change coolant (water wetter) every season
* Grease front axle every front tire change
* Clean brake caliper pistons once or twice a season

I was thinking of doing this once a season:

* Changing plugs
* Rebuilding front calipers /w new seals

Are there any transmission or engine filters like dirt bikes have? Anything else I should do? When should I start looking at valve clearance and stuff like that inside the engine?
