It was sorted out on another post you have to have IE as default not Edge.
For the ones interested in being able to check out/delete errors, reset service lights and reset throttle and a couple other things here are the details:
This actually WORKS! I have done it on my bike (2013 1199) but you have to make sure you buy the right stuff:
You need to buy a cable that transforms the bike's 4 pin connector (under passenger seat) to 16 pin OBDII, then also an OBDII scanner (for cars).. then download and register the free software and you are set!
The ELM327 1.4 USB OBDII scanner has to have the FTDI FT232RL chip:

Price is around $20
The 4 to 16 pin you buy it from an UK website called lonelec:

Price $20ish shipped (dont remember exactly)
And the software is MelcoDiag:
Download/registration and info can be found here (if you have questions you can register in their forum and they usually reply pretty fast):
jpdiag
(its the software at the very bottom of the screen for the bikes with Mitsubishi ECU)
Price FREE! - I use it with Windows 7 64 bit

For the OBD2 Scanner the link you had is no longer available; I found the same seller with this one:
ELM327 USB OBD2 Scanner Modified HS CAN MS CAN Switch FTDI FT232RL + PIC18F25K80
I reckon that's the new auction for a comparable item?
