15R sticker set for 1299S

Of course. I mean, as far as the general public is concerned, we are all on "Crotchrockets", or "one of them Ninja bikes".

But to other enthusiasts, doing such things is very much poserish. Pull up to a group of bikers, and other Ducati riders on a base model...with S or R decals all over it, and they will be like :rolleyes:.

I have seen it first hand.

Of course it is up to the individual whether they give a .... about such things. To some people it doesn't matter. To each their own. But pretending your bike/car/whatever is something it isn't (higher spec model), is poserish.

Personally, I would rather have a customized paint job (different colors/stripes/etc), or get a place to make my decals in a different color for a change, or something along those lines to make my bike stand out and to make it "my own". Rather than to try to make it look like something it isn't.

But that is just me.

BUT I care about what others do. If someone were to put Ohlins suspension on a base model and then put an "S" designation on their bike. I swear that I would type AT LEAST 3 paragraphs of strong condemnation

Come on, I have Ohlins F/R on my base, and because there aren't any Alien-looking tubes coming out them it's obviously a Base - this debate startrd cuz a guy just wanted the CORSE stickers on his bike, and it got turned into S and R on the fairing - ironically no one here has ever done that and we are arguing about it :eek:

What if the S came out of the garage after having an identity crisis and has always felt like an R since it was built? After the operation of adding Ducati Corse parts and the Corse and R stickers feeling like it's now complete. :D

Ironically enough I saw a kid at the track last month with a bone stock 899 but he printed Ohlins stickers and put them on his stock forks and stock steering damper.

He also had Ohlins stickers on his shock reservoir and even put a Termi logo on his stock pipes :lol:

I couldn't tell if he was the ultimate poser or the most epic troll.

Didn't you know? Just having Ohlins and Termi stickers shaves a second off your lap times. :p

You can look like the black dude in town. He took the emblems off his ford truck and replaced them with Mercedes.... Looks like a fool.
If you want a R just go buy a R?????
