15R sticker set for 1299S

Ok just to clarify, looking for the 'Ducati Corse' stickers.

Now, is this ok with everyone?! Lol :D

A lot of people including myself put the Ducati Corse Sticker on the 1199 before anyone knew what the R was going to look like. There was someone who actually posted the vector graphics for us on this forum back in 2012. The following year when the R came out the Ducati Corse sticker was on the R model. If anything Ducati Copied everyone else.

Antihero posted a mod that he had done to his bike to add coolant, guess what the 1299 now comes with that same mod. Some one else posted a mod on the 12 to see the oil level and guess what the 13's came out with that mod. These things Ducati copied their customers.

Feel free to put what ever you want on your bike. Its your hard earned money that you spent and you might as well have it the way you like it.

Good points Scrapper.

It's not about trying to make a bike look like the R. The R comes in one color only. If I was willing to buy a red bike, I would have purchased an R. Since I specifically chose a white 1199 and know that I always end up modding my toys, buying an S didn't make sense, so i got a base n changed most of the bike to the way I wanted it to look. I got the decals to mainly cover up the factory gray decals. It doesn't go with my color scheme. My decals are placed over the existing gray decals. They are not clearcoated over because it's too expensive to sand down n clearcoat just to put a decal kit on it. The R decal is simple and subtle, a slight change to add some color to a "primered" bike.

The "stickers" on the 15R are painted into the fairings so they may not be available separately.

this is not true they are stickers that are clear coated over. the sticker set is available as stated at carbon world.

My goal is to have a bike that's different. Different in a sense that NO ONE will have a bike that looks like mine. A decal kit is so basic. I like the look of the decals. I don't give a damn if it was from an S, R, SL, etc. NOTHING on my bike says anything about me wishing it was an R. If i wanted an R, i woulda got one. I'm only defending it because how much emphasis some of you put on a silly decal kit. I'm not pretending like it's an R. No R sticker anywhere. You and all the other R owners didn't pay a premium for some stupid decals. If you truly believe that, then you're sadly mistaken. Your premium went to better internals, suspension, exhaust, carbon bits, etc. All things i had to pay for on my base. I don't care who looks down at my bike n thinks I'm a poser. There are far more people who like the look of my bike (a lot might i add) than people who dislike it. Even then, no ones opinion of my bike matters but my own. I don't customize my bikes or cars to impress a single person besides myself. I simply show photos on here to show people on the forums something different than the same ol boring red bike u see everywhere.

Your bike is trick and not trying to be anything, although you've used other models decals its still unique, im just offering a different perspective.

Went ahead with the fairing sticker:

Looks great Steveo, I have the same decals on mine, it's all about what you like and I think this breaks up the red a bit, people who don't care about what their bike looks like buy BMW's.

Cheers

This thread just wasted 5mins of my life I will never get back. Besides putting ducati Corse stickers on the bike is really dangerous... It will make the bike go faster and you should know it's already fast enough being red and all.

Reading all the hateful comments on this thread gave me cancer. Just be helpful to the person asking the question and stop hating on some stupid stickers lol.

Those Ducati Corse decals look boss in my opinion. Purists can go alphabetise their canned foods .. and the horse they rode in on.

so does that mean people who get replica MotoGP livery are posing that they are riding a GP15 Desmosedici? Or if you put on the full Aruba.it WSBK livery, you must be trying to fool people that you're on an SBK-spec bike.

Each to your own . But if you saw a car being driven around painted like a NASCAR you would think the person driving it is a bit of a knob .

I do prefer the look of the R, for me there is too much red on the S or base, needs breaking up a bit so I would buy the S and put the R decals on it, not because I want it to be an R but because I prefer the aesthetics of that design. Just my 2 cents, everyone has an opinion on this topic.

Cheers

That's why I added the white decals myself, not to imposter anything but just too much red for me.
