no I haven't any recommendations?

Really the whole state park - and it's a big one - but mostly this bit between the renaissance fair and the Palisades. The roads are narrow, twisty and there's a good bit of elevation change. The downside is that it can get a bit busy on the weekends, but it's a nice change from my usual trips to the Catskills / Berkshires / Southern Vermont. Really a surprise, given how close to the city it is.

@DucatiKev Here's a look at the drain plug and filter.

Access to the oil filter not bad. Drain plug however:(

Besides the oil going everywhere without a bag or shield, even a thin torque wrench doesn't fit.

Had to go shopping for "crows feet" :)

I read somewhere that dealerships periodically crack the black cap that keeps the filter in place, as they try to remove it in 1 piece, so be careful getting it unstuck

hey how abt some of those high quality closeups of your fancy Ti Akra. Also, your bike looks way too clean to be ready for first service

Awesome thanks very much I’ll have to check it out for sure.

Just installed Rizoma 1 1/8 handlebars (MA009) :)

The stock ones felt like the bars on a tricycle;)

@DucatiKev, Thanks for the advice on the filter cap. As for my exhaust, I posted a nice shot of it in the SF photos.
What would be great, is for those who have the full system to post pics. Ducati's online photos rely don't come close to how the bike looks or how the Ducati Performance parts are high quality:)

What're the differences to the stock bars? More or less aggressive? I once installed the Rizoma bars to my S4RS and it was the worst decision ever. The Magura bars from the original S2R/S4R/S4RS and 1098 Streetfighters are probably the best balance of aggression and comfort Ducati has ever used.

I found the trick to dropping the filter cap is get 3 extra pinch bolts. Once you take the standard bolts out of the cover use the pinch bolts to turning each a little bit at a time to pop the cover off.

@Hejnfelt, Bar ergonomics is subjective to the height, reach, as well as use. What's aggressive for some, may not be for others. For me with a short reach at a little over five feet, it's comfortable but still aggressive (Rizoma MA009). Unlike the stock bars, pressure is evenly across the palm thus lowering rider fatigue:)

@Desmolvr, Would you take the time and post pics on safely removing the filter cover. A picture is worth a thousand words;)

For sure, I'm guessing that means these bars are less aggressive overall?

Does anyone know of bars that are more aggressive? More in line with the Tuono ride style?
Yes, if you are tall they would not be more aggressive than stock :)

Well it seems that the oil filter cover is a really simple and e-z job after all :)

The cover its self is treaded for larger metric bolts (just happened to have some long bolts left over from my wall mount T.V. bracket).

I don't know their size but here's a look at the difference between them and the cover bolts.

With the bolts in and a little wiggle, it removed very e-z:)

Picked up mine (V4s) yesterday, rode about 200km the first day. Yes!

Initially it´s comfortable, you instantly feel att home on it, some vibrations after long highway riding, nice seat, very nice to turn with in the bends.
Shifting at 6000rpm so I can´t say munch about the power since I am breaking it in. But it´s there for sure.

Don´t like the sidestand so far, hard to find or fold but that´s a minor issue, I can live with that if I get to ride this machine.

Overall superhappy!

New V4S owner here! Have about 300km on the bike. Loving it.

I installed the Akra slip-ons but failed to get a servo-buddy so i threw a CEL. Luckily i found a cheap OBD combo ($40 ish) to clear the code.

Just waiting on my servo-buddy so i can ride without that CEL!
