Oh my, that dude, ugh....so a little story about THAT guy....I was invited along with all the buyers who bought a R1M to COTA a few years back to a dinner where Vinales, Rossi and Lin Jarvis made an appearance. The condition to seeing Rossi was NOT to photograph him and basically keep your .... together....THAT guy got all up in his face with a video camera and acted a fool....basically running Rossi off before he was supposed to go, ruined it for the rest of us but he had to do it for the "gram" or YouTube or whatever, right....he can't ride either...not sure how he has all that he has but not a fan.

this is why I’m here. I know seasoned riders lurk here, and you’re the ones that drop out the golden nuggets like this.

I’m sure YouTube pays well

he’s not a real Ducati guy cause he doesn’t have an account here

Anyone hear any news? I’ve seen a lot being delivered in Europe since the factory reopened a few weeks ago. I saw some dealer in Alberta, Canada posted a video of them unpacking one not sure if that was filmed recently or back from the first wave.

One of the things that I've learned in my years in business is that the guys with all the show (especially social media, followers, etc.) usually have to do that because that's all they have: meaningless shiny surface flash. if you're actually good at what you do, you keep your head down and grind away and maintain a low profile. The people who need to know what you're good at will know and if need be, they will find you. You will eventually have more attention than you would ever want.

All of that social media hype stuff (even from certain motorcycle dealers, too) is a huge red flag to me that things are most likely far from what they seem.

For a Hooligan bike I wonder why my Streetfighter didn't come with a switchblade keyless key fob like my Diavel?

My red little devil arrived yesterday, apparently the second one delivered in Norway, and the first with complete Akrapovic race exhaust. Took her for a virgin ride last night, and it is definitely "something else", compared to the Diavel 1260S I had before, and probably most other motorcycles on the market. Super easy to ride, fast as hell, great sound (had to wear earplugs), great manouverability, excellent suspension. Fairly good riding position as well, and I opted for the higher comfort seat since I am 190 cms tall. Since my back and spinal nerves are very sensible to vibrations due to previous sports accidents, and which quickly cause arm fatique, I am happy to notice that the V4 engine is much better for my body than a 2C engine. Rode 80 kms without shaking loose the arm once, whilst on the Diavel, my arm froze after 10 kms. The 220 hp are definitely there, and it will take me some time to adjust the settings for my riding, such as engine braking etc since most of my riding is related to commuting in dense traffic. The factory settings are rather on/off when it comes to the throttle, and I prefer a smoother handling at low rpms / typical in-city riding.
Currently riding with no baffles, and I think I will keep it like that - until the cops tell me something else. Great sound design from tha Akra race titan system, different from Termi, more sports-like sound, imo. Manages to both display the low growling sound typical of Ducati on lower rpms as well as a roaring insane sound at higher rpms. Not sure if it was worth all the money, compared to other aftermarket exhausts that would fit a V4, but the original and bloody heavy Ducati system does not look very good in comparism.
Miss the FOB key, weird to go back to a regular key lock again.

Congrats on your new girl!

New carbon tail with add-on turn signals.

Carbon number plate holder (97381161AA ). Nice looking and half the length of the OEM. Ducati LED turn indicators ( 96680201A ). High quality, aluminum, and bright. Cables on the turn lights are twice as long as stock making install harder. All connections fit just nicely:)

Hello guys! My first post here. My 4:th Ducati just arrived home. 3 previous bikes have been Multistradas but I always wanted to have SF. This V4 is on the one for me. OMG this bike rocks! First base model I see here.
Congrats! Welcome aboard, it’s a great place here
excited to see how much improved this bike is vs your Multistradas

do u like modifying bikes or will it stay pretty much stock?

I have passanger seat cover installed and heated grips. Tail tidy in mind too. I will keep orginal exhaust enough noise for old guy like me. V4 engine is what I want to experience after many v2 and inline 4 machines. I had Mt-10 Sp for 2 years, liked it but it lacked Ducati wibes and sound and ... you know.

We’ve been talking abt the NRC fender eliminator. There’s a specific model for the V2 and someone tried the V4 version on their V2 and it threw a warning light on the dash.
I have a 2020 Panigale V4 and ordered the V4 kit. Hoping no dash lights but we’ll see.
You may have to just give it a try and if there is an error, try the V2 specific unit maybe. Or just wait, of course for a streetfighter specific.
These accessories companies can’t keep up with the rate of new motorcycle models being produced. We sure are getting to experience an amazing time here

you mentioned your age and I’ve been barking up the tree for my dad who is a 60 year old Harley guy, to get a streetfighter V4. How comfortable is it for you so far?

Ergonomics are perfect for me. I really like Tuono but pegs are way to high for me. SF has much more legroom and nice seat too. No problems when I drove 300km yesterday. Gas tank is empty and need filling before my ass is on fire.

Sounds like you are happy with the new purchase, but - are you now selling it? Ducati Streetfighter V4S Titan Akrapovic race or was it the one you bought?

I´m waiting for mine, the dealer said sometime in june so I am currently quite happy to turn the page to next months calender.

That is correct, I am very happy with it, but also see that it is slightly overkill for my kind of use, which is mostly commuting, and often in cold, rainy weather. I don´t have time to take it for longer trips, nor I am interested in challenging the physics that much anymore. So I put it up for sale right away, so someone else can enjoy it more than I have the time and ability to do. Since I am pushing 50 and with no time to really enjoy such an amazing bike as the SF, a Multistrada Pikes Peak would suit me better, I guess. We´ll see.
