haha yeah I might have a slight issue. Each and every bike has been gone through and all the right mods were added for the best possible experience. I love modding them and riding everyone.

Maybe jealousy is my issue. That 1299 SA is my favourite Ducati of all. Congrats

Haha the anniversario? That’s a mean machine. I actually saw one in person at a bike night and that’s when I decided I needed to be a Ducati guy. They hold their value so well and they are very special but there wasn’t a single one I could buy so I settled for my “just another red one” 1299S. At least it’s an S tho

Yep that’s the one. I had to draw it because I was so impressed. There’s one for sale here atm but it’s worth double my “regular” S.

My buddy sent me an email with a photo of the bike. I fell in love at first site and had to have her. Lol

@Duc-rider, does Ducati make matching rear turn signals? Fronts look nice! Did the Evotech fit right up? I heard the one made for the V4/S/R needs modification to fit properly.
Haven't done my rear turn signals because I'm installing the Ducati Carbon Number Plate next week. But the front and rear should be the same. The Evotech needed some work to fit (slightly small for top cover). The instructions were terrible. You had to dismantle a great deal to do the job:(

I rode one of the demo V4S Streetfighters from my local dealer a few weeks ago, what an incredible bike! I didn't think it could be better than a Tuono Factory 1100 but it SURE is! Can't wait to get mine....

I have built custom blacked-out Ohlins suspension and 7 spoke flat-black Marchesini wheels arrived today! Full Akrapovic, DP rearsets and a smattering of carbon fiber all on order....my base model is currently being made :)

I had a 2018 V4, sold it for the my 2019 V4R (track only) and was quite surprised by the difference in feel the SF has.

Although the frame is cast at 24.5 degrees the head angle insert is 26.5 and moved forward 2 mm.

Swingarm is 1/2" longer and the valving is much lighter in the forks for BOTH rebound and compression while only slightly different for the shock on compression. Spring rates are quite different as well, likely to create more mechanical grip at street pace due to chassis pitch.

This is along the lines of what I am thinking. I would order the base and do a suspension and wheel upgrade along with handlebar and rearset mods.

@Sherpa23 I prefer the NIX30 R&T fork with the tuned flex upper tubes...basically the same fork on the 1199/1299 Superleggera so this is why I am going that route, plus everyone and their brother has the V4S so mine will be different :)

No dry clutch either, seems silly to run one on a street bike....more maintenance and not meant to be launched very often.

Evotech radiator and oil cooler guard:)

interested to hear what the cost delta will be..you ll pay a little more I’m guessing from V4s to V4 with your wheel and suspension upgrade?

@Diz forged wheels cost about 2k, R&T fork, TTX shock and steering damper about 4k but I did some custom stuff like DLC coating the shock shaft and a black shock reservoir, et al...so it costs MORE to do what I am doing but it will be better than an V4S. The R&T Ohlins forks are better quality than OEM Ohlins as is the shock.

Can’t wait to see it done - will be following this one closely. Good luck
