Doubt that I’ll keep the bike.
Don't give up on it too quick ;)

There were a lot of things I didn't like about my first Ducati. Now nine years later I still love my Diavel. And what I loved about it out weighs the things I don't.

Thanks for the encouraging reply. I’ve been through quite a few Ducatis in the last four years: Diavels, Monsters S and R and Multistradas. They all attracted me and all bugged me.
I pulled the plug on this one today for a H2 SC SE plus. I’ve got a 2020 KTM Super Duke GT and a 2020 Triumph Speed Triple.
probably return to the brand again as I always have. Just couldn’t handle the loudness of this bike.
stay safe!

Another thing about this bike. I’m getting 32 to 33 mpg. Granted have not yet done first service at 6500k but that’s a lot of fill ups.
Oh well, I tried.

H2 SX SE plus on order and will get a Tuono V4 Factory left over.

That was a ground ball, don't be so wounded.

New Duc Driver in South Germany. Already did the first service with quite a bit of abrasion on the screw.
First ride without rev limitation was absolutely impressive (coming from a bmw s1000r) .

Congratulations on your new Streetfighter:)

The metal on the drain plug looks like it might be from manufacturing seeing its type and amount.

Hello all, new member here. My 2021 SFV4 was delivered last Friday. Been about 20yrs since I owned a bike but loving my Streetfighter. Only a few mods so far (CF heel guards, CF tank guard & NRC Tail Tidy). Plan to install Rizoma bars ( thank you Duc-rider), CRG arrow bar end mirrors and a few other goodies. Blacked out my radiator shrouds last night (thank you bp_SF4V).

Should have come from the factory with blacked out radiator surroundings. Love it

@meyer71

Glad the blacked out shrouds worked out for you. Did you find the matte black 3M vinyl easy to install? I like that single seat tail. What fender eliminator did you go with?

For those interested, this is the product I used and suggested to meyer71.

This kit is enough to do all four with some extra. Basically, place the part over the wrap and trim it so you have about 1.25-1.5" overhang on all sides. You really only need heat, very slight heat at that, at the countersunk screw holes which is where I would suggest starting the stretch. I don't suggest using heat near the edges as its easy to get tears. If you have any wrinkles, lift up and slightly stretch and lay back down.
