Signs of aging I guess -
So owning both a 15r and a 18FE is not that ideal anymore.
The 15r is now a dedicated track bike and I don't feel like pounding 5,000-8,000 on the FE
So the 950s Multi came out last year and really caught my eye.
I needed a 3rd motorcycle like i need a hole in my head but the itch got really itchy.
Every bike I have owned up to now has been a "crotch rocket"
I took delivery of the bike Saturday and between Saturday and Sunday i put 400 miles on her.
The 950 has plenty of power for the street, in fact I love it in Enduro mode on the street.
You can hold it wide open without being worried about Federal Pen sentences.
I did about 20 mile son hard pack roads, gravel and muddy surfaces with really decent inclines
Coming from a motocross background i was really surprised this machine could navigate as well as it did.
It is by no means an off-road bike, really hard pot holes had its way with the suspension, which could get stiffed up if I played around with it before getting on the dirt. Taking it off double is still not recommended.
In Enduro it really lugs very well and does't spin up the rear tire.
The Skyhook suspension glides over the frost heaves here.
The bike turns in nicely but not as well as a Panigale.
This is the perfect street bike fully cable of doing it all, with heated grips, cruise control and a mountain of electronics.
