I didn't even notice that the S lowers are different.
That's one of the oil cooler lines. I wouldn't be concerned with what you have pictured. I think my bike looks the same.

Rear tire got 3 chunks of metal in it sooo had to buy a new rear. Had them load the new 2023 software update while I was in there.
Bike is slightly louder/deeper sounding, runs cooler, runs smoother, and the quickshifter is even better than before.
