Hello all,
I would like to know if here´s somebody who can help regarding the driver seat hight on the 2023 Panigale V4. The seat position is that high, I will need to reduce it
a lot to be able to drive safe. My former 1198 had a high which was 5cm (around 2 inch) lower than it is on the Panigale now.
Do you know where I can purchase maybe a lower driver seat? I found a lot of shops selling them for the Streetfighter, but not for the Pani. Is it maybe the same seat, so I can use the lower seat of the Streetfighter?
Thanks a lot for some usefull information and have a great sunday.
Br, Sven

Thank you. The seat would be my first try. If I could install a lower one and save hight maybe it would help. But where can I get one is the question?

When I first rode my new 2022 Panigale V4S, I quickly realized the seat height (I’m 5’11”) and could barely sit with flat feet on ground. I bought a lower seat that is usually only ~10mm lower from stock and noticed almost no appreciable improvement! I found that there are rear suspension link kits that lower the rear suspension 1in./25mm which you would only need to also lower the front suspension by readjusting fork tubes. I would have a suspension shop do this. From my experience, it took me around 1,500-2,000 miles of riding to finally appreciate the bike geometry and became used to the seat height inconveniences and now do not even think about it. You do need to be careful when at a stand still or maneuvering with your feet, like adjusting in parking spots, etc. you can easily get off balanced and having to make quick moves!

I did install a bar riser kit (3inch rise) which allows upright riding on long to and from canyon runs.

Ducati’s are sure not Goldwings and do take a bit to getting use too!
