How often do you see three Desmos together? What more three Desmos on the track together?

One of these riders is on his own bike. The other two riders are on bikes of very generous owners. I know two of the riders and the third by name. I've had to turn down offers to ride the one Desmo numerous times as I knew I would have sold somebody's kids to buy it.

There's a house on the edge of the racetrack?!

Btw, those must be 2 of the most trusting owners ever to allow someone else to ride their desmo!

As usual, stupid people build houses around racetracks and complain about the noise.

The one owner is a retired racer that enjoyed watching his bike ridden. His knees hurt to much to ride it anymore.

One of them is up for sale. I can only dream.

what a beauty. I still love it and thought about buying a used one...

but it seems maintenance and spare parts are just way way too high.

If it was in the Panigale (S or R) range then would've done it.

I wanna hear that story. Did he ask livengood about the service costs for racing it and passed out?

Exactly! The one owner offered me a great price on his that I could've scraped up but maintenance and repairs would've been too much for me. Waiting for parts, I have patience.

You know that wouldn't happen. He'd just tell them to fill in the dollar amount on the blank checks he gives them.

It was something along the lines of a douche bag showing up at a TD with one and wadding it up on lap entry.

Ouch!!! That hurt!!!

That is a one shot you'll never see often if ever...that would be fun to ride.

Never been to that track yet. How is it Twisted? Worth make the trip out there?

It's an older track, not as safe as the Ridge. But I really do enjoy it still. You drop downhill from 2-3-4 and there's a blind rise down the back straight to 5. Uphill from 7-8.

Worthwhile doing at least once. I enjoy tracks with elevation changes. I've done Portland once and found that flat track boring for my tastes.
Join us at the Ridge July 1st with OPRT Flo if it doesn't coincide with OMRRA. WMRRA isn't racing that weekend.

Thanks for the track info/description!

I agree, PIR is flat and boring but it's close for me. I will definitely look into meeting up with out there and at the Ridge too! Can't wait for spring!
