8 Sleeps...

... until I pick up my Panigale!!!

After being on this website for what seems like an eternity, I hope I have some knowledge of the bike and its little quirks for when I ride it back up to the highlands of Scotland. Without you guys, I would've gone mad with the wait - cheers fellas

I'm sure I will keep you all abreast of any problems/frustrations and "Nirvana-type" moments in the future. I'll post my first thoughts once I either dry out, thaw out or am able to think straight after my first ride-out - Scottish summer and all that...

Cheers fellas, it'll be the longest SEVEN SLEEPS ever!!

My first ever Ducati will be the Tricolore and I can't wait

Not sure if it is the new batch but it I think the chasis number is above 5500 so here's hoping any teething problems have been sorted.

I'm in the same boat. This is my first Ducati as well. You'll get it way before me. If I start counting the sleeps now I'll go crazy for sure so I'm trying not to think about it.

But very excited for you though. [thumbs up]

I finally picked mine up today after a 6 month wait and love it. I only did 29 km today, but I am planning on going for a bigger ride on the weekend. Man it is loud, turned quite a few heads as I was riding through the traffic.

Short ride planned for me tomorrow , got a new comfort seat so going to give it a go.

It sounds loud when revving stationary

But not that loud out on the road

Must admit though only been up to about 6500 while running in

Final SLEEP tonight before I pick up the Tri

Unfortunately, due to severe weather warnings for the next few days, i'm having to collect her in a van and drive her back to the highlands... still I suppose its for the best

Justifire: keep in touch in case our bikes are of the same batch, would be interesting to see how yours goes

Do you got confirmation for next week ?
Was at my dealer 2 days ago and bike was expected to come in next week.
Told me it's gonna take another 3-4 weeks because of the earthquake delays

That must be tough
If I have a 3-4 week delay, I will cancel my order until Spring. I see no point in having my new bike sit in the garage over winter (I live in an area that come October is flooded throughout Winter). My order has already been pushed back a week to Aug 11 and that is before anything has been advised as coming in.

Yep, apparently mine lands in the country today/tomorrow. If its today I will get it Saturday.

The only problem is that the weather forcast for the next week is..... Rain...
