899 evo
899 scrambler? Some bigger cc scrambler at least
Monster 1200r
Diavel belt
More powerful diavel
Some new multi or hyper
Some special edition 1299

Running out of ideas.
 
Limited edition scrambler and the new diavel are 2 other ones. What are the other 6?

I would be REALLY surprised by this. I think that's the role the Monster 1200R is supposed to fill, regardless of people not thinking it actually does.
 
My guess is they are going to produce a very expensive motorcycle and it will come in red.

I would love to buy a track day bike -off road only- like they did in the 80's

makes sense to me because so many of their customers buy street bikes and convert them to track bikes . but I'm not holding my breath .
 
I'm putting my money on a 1299 tri-colore. Which I cant wait to see and hopefully an up specced 899 EVO.

We would all love to see a new street fighter but I think Ducati is smart enough to know they missed the boat on that one. The Street fighter was just ahead of its time and didn't take off well, now itd be much more well received but the time to do it was when the BMW S1000R/KTM 1290 SDR , the year of the supernaked. This year is the year of the superbike and everyone went back to superbikes. The opportunity for the bulk of the sales they would have made has gone which is a shame.

Never thought about that. Maybe a 821 to compete with Interceptor or one with the engine from the Multi to compete with the Beemer, Concours14 and FJR1300

I think we will see another version or two of the scrambler, with a bigger engine. Maybe a pikes peak version of the new multi, I doubt we see a new SF, as badly as I wish. Probably a 899 evox maybe a S or R version. They should do a special 1299 maybe a tri, can't see any changes to the R st this point, give that bike a damn LED headlight. Maybe and I highly doubt this a bugger hyper, oh how I wish.

They already market the MS as a Sport-Tourer/Adventure bike. The success of the MS is why we haven't seen any ST2/ST3/ST4s in a decade.

I can't see them producing a model that will primarily serve to bleed off sales from an existing model (though wouldn't surprise me to see them put out a limited edition MS).

Would love to see them produce the equivalent of the RC390. That would make sense. And I'd think about buying one - a light sport single.

Not limited. All R's are homogolation specials. Have to make a minimum of 1000 I believe. The exhaust would not matter though, they are allowed to change that. You would likely see internal updates to pistons, crank etc based upon lessons learned from having to race them that way. I wouldn't think it would be anything groundbreaking though. Just minor tweaks that wouldn't make a difference unless you were racing.

The belt drive cruiser will be a separate model next to the Diavel. So with a standard and an 'S' model that's already 2 out of 9.

I think it's a bit early for a 899 EVO, maybe if they announce it in the summer 2016.

Larger displacements scrambler also not going to happen, maybe special editions but not bigger engines.

A new ST seems highly probable to me.

1199/899 SF also a possibility.

Far fetched but maybe the long rumoured scooter?

The RC390 equivalent would make a lot of sense and would be really cool.

Scramblers with bigger engines is happening according to my dealership, they've been right with everything I know of so far. I was looking at getting a Scrambler, my dealer said lay off as I would want something with a bit more poke and wait for the bigger models if I wasn't desperate to get one.

Ha. I'm still here, still check the threads from time to time even though I'm busy preparing for the new bikes.

I won't spill the beans of course but I will say this - over the next three years, we'll be releasing things that I think a lot of you will really like, based on what you've said you wanted!

All I read was New Streetfighter, 899R, V4 etc etc. I have a feeling I will be very broke in the next 3 years lol
 
Two of these will take us into segments in which we're currently not present and this is going to be one of the greatest challenges of 2016: to extend the Ducati hallmarks of style and performance to motorcyclists who were - until now - beyond our reach.

Well like I said I won't spill the beans. That means, of course, that there are beans to spill! ;)

Good things are coming in the future. They may not be exactly what you expect...they may be even better.

My advice is for those of you who like to play the long game, start prepping the wife now for an addition or two to the stable :D
