I am not that fast...
but I ride a lot
Rea isnt doing CCS this year, i not know if you follow RRW but they had a big write up on he was moving up from CCS to WSBK this year

You got any plans other then doing countless laps in this forum?

I had more fun wearing out the AMA guys than NHRA (more competitors in each class) so I am considering competing in the MotoAmerica SuperBike class

I am pretty sure Don's intent on here was to just talk about all this stuff and not do anything else.

I just called AMA to find out what I gotta do to get licensed and they said the cut off is 55 years of age

What exactly are you building Don ?
You are selling the tank and you have offered me and other people your track fairings and lithium battery
Heck you’re probably building a coffee table so you can park it at that Starbucks, get free wifi and post nonsense all day here!

Hey JC are there any advantages on the Zeeta top clamp? Looks like it comes with steering stem nut as well correct
And I’m guessing you can run it with stock clip ons?

Zeta and pretty much every other “motogp” design is supposed to provide a small weight reduction (insignificant) and better feel for the front end. However if you want a major performance upgrade for front end feel (besides the fork set up your doing) buy the lower clamp as well. That will provide the absolute best balance for flex and rigidity. IMA is really the main one, you can also modify the offset with different options provided with the clamps to adjust the trail of the bike.

Yes it comes with the hex steering stem nut and you could definitely use stock clip ons but the zeta clip ons are by far my favorite for 1 the angle and 2 the ease of taking them on and off. They wrap around the fork rather then slide over

Thanks
Before I do the complete lower and upper triple I gotta do some brake upgrades and a couple other things. Yes I saw the design on the zeta clip ons, similar to woodcraft design!
I’m surprise there’s not a lot of panigales with Zeta upper triple, the design is nice and simple and better looking than ducabike in my opinion

Good call! Tune us in, check the oversized rotor upgrade aka the v4/1299/1199 rotor (need the spacers). And speaking of rotors the Braking EPTA rotor were too new when i was doing my build but that was my first choice i just couldnt get them in the time frame i needed them. I know galfer just released some new cool sbk ones that my co worker just picked up for his build.

I agree, its more accessible (any dealer who can order from WPS, which is basically 100% of dealers) and the matte finish looks nicer imo than the billet shine. Maybe because its more of a dirt brand id say, and its Japanese? but the brand is usually doing works stuff with most of the Japanese big 4 so I appreciate that part of them very much

Speaking about brakes
What made you choose the Galespeed vrc overtime Brembo? Adjustability ? I’m guessing the vrc are comparable to the Brembo corsa corta ?
I think yours is the first one I see with these

Also driven Rearsets, first ones I’ve seen on a Panigale, price is not bad and seem to have some good adjustability as well

Galespeed is basically the Japanese Brembo in a way. They are more adjustable than Brembo. They adjust the leverage ratio in .25 increments. Personally I like the Accossato MCs the best. 19x19 is my personal favorite from them. Although i think I’m running 19x18.5 or 19.25 something like that, it probably says back in the post. But the machined finish look of the Galespeed is another added bonus, to get that look from Brembo you have to run what Karl is running which is straight off wsbk and motogp bikes. I’ve seen Galespeed commonly in Motoamerica and SBK. Just another flavor I haven’t tried.

Another added bonus is I wanted to implement as much Japanese parts as I could in here, as I appreciate the engineering from both Euro and Jap brands. As you already saw with Zeta parts. Its like if you could do the best of both worlds imagine how great the bike would be?! But take a shot at any of the top brands you wont be disappointed they all have their pros and cons!

Honestly Driven rear sets came from work. I had them in the shop ready to go before I even bought the bike.. so thats really why i chose that and that was the only option I had. Just incase the sale fell through it was no hassle to return them. The goal was to track it a week after buying it but the lower triple clamp was the only thing stopping that. I couldn’t get that in time. But I guess you could say thats the “American” part of my bike. Again I tried to stray away from doing an all Italian build so that it was different and it broadened the horizon to as what a typical Ducati is (hence no red either). I wanted to grab parts from brands from as many different countries I could to represent the best engineering from around the world to say. Maybe a little cheesy but I wanted to do that the best that I could.

You did a great job mixing it up and putting it together, nothing but nice parts.
Still running stock masters so that’s my next buy
Maybe I’ll get the ducabike throttle switch and either corsa corta master or galespeed vrc brake master as I do like it a bit better! I’m sure either will work great with my abs delete and t split brake lines
