959 Tyre choice, feedback on Q3+ 190/55

Its good advice from the dealer, tire profiles and radius vary between manufacturers even for the same supposed sizes. If you are not sure what to use then use stock tires, Pirellis are excellent so just choose the level of grip you are after for the conditions and your riding style. If you are predominantly commuting, its does not matter what you use, Michelin Road 5's are perfectly adequate, however if you are heading into the mountains every weekend and exploring edge grip, get Supercorsa's. The actual size 180/60 compared to 190/55, you will need to put a profile gauge on an inflated tire to compare along with an accurate radius measurement.
Hey Paul,
I'm not sure why anyone would commute on a pani full stop, I love my 959 and am lucky to live in the hills of far Sth Coast nsw, so yep high risk lean angles are the order of the day.
That last paragraph is the info I want without going to the trouble of doing it, someone has done the legwork I'm sure.

Pirelli for 2021 with tire specs for all two wheel vehicles.

I have the pdf saved as it was tough to find. Search for PIRELLI_TDB_2021_LR or I can email it to you. It is too large to post here.

edit...from the linked forum thread and the picture above, a 190/55 is going have a HUGE overall diameter on a 5.5" rim.
Thanks for that, I found it and the metzler equivalent

For anyone interested, I've come to the conclusion that 180/60 is the best option, might not be as much choice as 190's but it doesn't create any other issues, so that's that. Thanks to all for their input.
Cheers.
