anybody have experience with these gloves. the price difference is 60 bucks but i cant really see how much different each glove is. Also i read in a review that the pro is a better glove if your not on the track.

I have the GP Pro gloves and love them! I've been down in the past using these same gloves and had no harm done to my hands. Great overall protection. However, they do run a tad small so if you're typically a large, buy an XL. I got them at a steal of a price about 4 months ago on a blue/white 2012 model for $155 shipped. At the time they had the red/white ones for the same price as well but those deals are obviously over. I don't think the GP Tech's are worth the $$ when the Pro is just as good in my opinion.

I've used both, and have wrecked in the Pros; they held up well. The Techs are more robust, but the track/race guys around here prefer the Pros because a) they're easier to break in, and b) they're less expensive.

Both are good gloves, protection wise, although I've seen some quality issues from the odd pair. IMO, the Pros are a better value.

I have 2 techs and 1 pro.

I use the Pros for the street because they are more comfortable, but the Techs at the track for the additional protection.

Just bought a set of the techs for the track. I wear a medium usually but they seem a bit tight. When the break in will they stretch a bit? Just seem pretty stiff.

Should I size up?

I wear the Tech. I have not complaints. They were a bit snug to the point that I thought I bought a size too small when I first wore them. As with all leather gear, they softened and broke in nicely after a few hours of use.

I have both Pro and Tech.
Pro is much softer and more confortable to use.
Tech has a lot more direct feeling, particularly on the palms and fingers.
For the track, I prefer the Tech as I can feel all the throttle, vibration, and braking with impecable accuracy. However, my hands are sore at the end of the day as they are harsh.
For the road, definitely Pro.
Wearing the Pro on the track is not bad either. The feel is still very excellent, without hurting the hands. But since I got given the Tech, i might as well use those.
