I've always held Akrapovic to the highest standard. But this....? Come on Akra!?!?

Why can't exhaust companies just stick to the design that came with the 1199? Stop reinventing the exhaust!

That design seems better then the original exhaust system we have on our Panigales...Why? It doesn't have the manifold loop under the seat the causes all that heat burining our thighs...

This design makes it snake down right away...thus less heat on our right thighs!
Hmmmmmmmmmmm...its better as it eliminates the heat...though the under belly exhaust from termignoni anf Akra "LOOKS" better.

The comfort seat has made a huge difference in minimizing the heat. Although from its appearance it might not be convincing enough. But after a few rides you will see there's no need for heat wraps or heat shields.

This is a recurring topic but there is a twist. The heat is bearable with both race and comfort seat simply because you sit back off the tank a little more. You can move yourself back quite a bit but the problem with sitting back off the tank is that you are throwing more weight on your wrists when you are going slow, so there is a trade off regardless unless you have incredible core strength.

Unless you ride in 90F+ all the time you should be fine, and even then it would only be an issue if your stopping at lots of lights. This is probably the only thing that counts against the bike as a commuter (that and the fact it really begs to be ridden harder than is legal in all cities)

I completely disagree. I don't feel any difference between the two. The heat doesn't really bother me personally, but the comfort seat didn't change a thing on my bike...other than less butt pain:D

This was a one-off modification of an akra done by Shift-tech for their personal ride. They're selling the bike as a whole but the exhaust isn't available to purchase. Am I correct, Shift?

I believe or my assumption is that this design makes more power. My personal opinion...it is ugly as hell and I would never put that on my Panigale even if it made 30 more HPs, unless I was racing on a track with it all the time.

In their for sale post, they mention you can buy it without the hideous exhaust for $1400 off the price. So, you CAN buy the exhaust if you choose!
