This is it! Akra full system is going in to the V2. Going out today to get the last 125mi in for the first service, then the dealer can fit the new system. Its like 8hrs of service to install and they are booked the rest of the week. Looks like im going riding since the sun is finally out today.

You have me wondering now...the box is from Ducati Performance but the part# reads EVO. Has the upmap
I was going to have the dealer do the install. That way i cant be blamed!

So cool... 10 hrs for them taking their time while doing it right and billing YOU For it

Akra on brand new V4 was $7,000 installed... not bad right? Lol

It’s very special to say “Ducati performance” on it.. makes it worth the price

Took me five hours and three beers. It really isn’t that difficult. Taking the subframe off helps. It comes with decent instructions. If you have the tools, do it yourself.

I’m pretty well off but I’m not pay someone $110 an hour to do something that I can well off.

this is giving me the courage to attack installing the Akra header pipe to compliment my Akra slip ons

Yessir it does say Ducati Performance!
All BS aside I actually got a pretty good deal on the full system $3600. I just gave them my bike today for the 621mi service. The red oil lamp turned on right before it flipped over to 622. Service and the install is $1200.
So...4800 for a juicy titainium Akrapović full system installed with the first service. I dont feel too bad, especially 7k on the V4, im good. I was getting the exhaust anyway and since i needed the service...

dicati Miami wanted $38,000 out the door for a V4S w full Akra.

you certainly got an incredible deal. Maybe they’ll ship me 1!
Thanks. I think they gave me love because i got everything from them and are having them do the install. They're cool people . Seems like the whole shop there either rides or races.

we’ve got some great service writers and techs in the philly area

I think I’ll be getting my first V4 test ride ever on Saturday, so that’ll be decision day haha

I can't understand why it would be 8 hours...... Does that include lunch and bathroom breaks too?

Hey Chris, do you mind telling us where did you take it? That is a smokin deal alright

8 hours does seem a little excessive to fit a full system on the V2. I fitted a full system on my 1199 and 1299 in around five hours. A lot depends on having the right tools, mechanical confidence and a familiarity with the bike. Saying that a dealer often works to prescribed times set by Ducati for a particular job, so 8 hours is often not what is required but what is allocated.

I bought the bike from Wheels in Motion in Chatsworth, Ca. They offer their bike purchasing customers up to 20% on accessories and apparel (not sure about parts) . Depending on the manufacturer. These people are great to
their customers!
