Personally, I believe that the base plot is always gonna be a moving reference point, depending on the version of Ducati map, plus settings being used.

As you can see, this is September time stamped, so is already the "old" map.

Having said that, since Akra say their system should be used with the standard "Race" map, I wonder how it will be affected by the continual updates Ducati will make to their own maps

Can't see the picture....

No matter what the scale on the Akra plot, the torque curve looks quite impressive with no dip in the mid-range at all. Wouldn't the fuelling changes from the new Ducati maps be incremental to the extra midrange from the Akra exhaust? Like others it hard to contemplate £3.5k on an exhaust though - titanium or not.

Not sure if calsport will have more info at the NEC, but I'm going to take a serious look this and Rich's exhaust while I'm there.

That's very impressive...is that with a full system or slip on? Im currently using the termi slip-on...

Impressive stuff...yes..i was called by my dealer to bring my bike in this weekend for a new updated map to be installed...hmmmmm...but mine is just a slip-on.

FYI, CarpiMoto has the exhaust on sale for 2906 euros. Current exchange rates puts that at $3726 USD and there's no VAT/Tax.

Your right £3.5K is a lot,but wasn"t the Termi kit for the Desmo about £6.5K? If ya want it badly enough, you"ll get it:) I"m starting to think the Akra looks like value for money. Its full pipework, silencers, heatshield etc. I look at the picture of the AR system and I certainly can"t see £2K worth. £2839/ 3500Euro is advertised price for Akra system on Carpimotos website thats a bit more palateable now. I"m doing a complete 180 here and gonna save the extra for the Akra system. Totally gone off the AR jobbie. Sorry Rich, but i"m out.

I may be out as well. I really don't want to change the appearance of the Panigale - and I have this love affair with titanium, stemming from my bicycle touring days...

Wow that is so cheap! have sent off an email to find out the ETA. Pretty sure i am ordering it regardless

you need to calm down.

if it bothers you so much, just move on to another thread.

EDIT: That was in response to Bradp's post, which has since been removed :)

Just pissed off reading some they way some people carry on. I deleted it. One minute something is the latest fashion next thing they don,t want to buy it. Telling me to calm down is pointless. You have no influence on me and if I get pissed off and want to express that then that what the forum is for. If it bothers you then don,t read my post.

BTW I have a std exhaust and will be keeping for the time being as I am pretty happy with it. like to read about development of new stuff though as I admire people that get in and have a go to produce stuff.

yeah, that's life. But wait till you see my custom exhaust - Trauma is gonna have to sell his Akras :p

Edit: Wow man one minute you are calm and then you go edit your post and again go all crazy. I don't really care whether I have any influence on you or not, but abusing people on the forum is not very cool. I have to read your post because it comes in the way while Im scrolling down the page. Grow up.

Hey, I have ordered nuthin' - I don't have $4k laying around at this point (I have already spent way more than that on other options) to make a minor change to sound/weight, and I like the stock look.

Unlike a lot of folks here, this is my first twin, and I love the sound. I am constantly gunning it just to hear/feel it. But if you held a gun to my head and said ORDER, it would be the Akra at this point. If it was a 90% race bike, it would be the AR, no question.

Go .... yourself. Tell me to grow up who do you think you are. Its a forum where we express free speech and opinion.

If you are so fond of expressing yourself, why did you delete your post? Atleast have the balls to stick to what you say, or grow some. I have a pair to go .... with, but you don't have that option I think.

Really?

I agree with you 100% that this community is about free speech and opinion, but please attack the position and not the person.

I don't expect everyone to agree with one another all the time. But we can still maintain enough respect for one another to say I have a different opinion because of personal reasons without making personal attacks toward people in the community.
