Hit the 1000 km service today and got the Akro silencers installed at the same time.

What an amazing sound in real life. NO video on YouTube even comes close to capturing how the exhaust actually throbs at a very deep level at idle and then when it growls along through traffic it is very aggressive sounding.

Exhaust cost 4000.00 AUD. 1000 km service cost 199 AUD and the install of the exhaust cost 200.00 AUD and took almost 2 hours to install.

Maybe try an online compressor tool?
I really want the akro system but an arrow slip-on is like 1/5 of the price :S

The arrow is quite a bit cheaper here in Canadia, about 1400. I'm talking about the slip-on ofc.

love the sound of the aftermarket stuff but i would be so busted if the rangers hear me coming....

Where did you get it done at, and did that include the upmap?
cheers

I got my Akra slip-ons this week.
Sound is awesome.
It also looks great.
I like the RACING announcement when switch is turning on too.
Not sure I really feel the difference. Power it's not something I felt missing with this beast.
Is the price for the Akra worth the upgrade?
Not sure I'm the right for asking:)

Congrats and enjoy, it’s a solid pipe. You answered you own question by buying it.

As much as I want one I couldn’t justify $4k for a slip on. I ended up getting a unknown brand at a fraction of the price.

All in I spent $1600.

.... I'm in Australia getting ripped! 4700 for slip on, 489 for service and 500 to fit exhaust im Adelaide

Yupp, most expensive upgrade I’ve done on a bike. New fuel map and air filter included in the price but that’s a small relief ofc. On the good side, this bike has very few needs of expensive upgrades. I’m very happy with it’s stock equipment. Only complaint is the poor mirrors flapping around. But I’ll upgrade them and the windscreen before spring .
