Akrapovic slip-on filter question

I just picked a slip-on Akrapovic for my Panigale V2 for my trackbike, got a good deal on it. Installed the exhaust today and looking at doing the filter next. Doesn't seem to say in the instructions if the filer should be oiled? I would assume its not? Seems it wouldn't do a whole lot of filtering......or can you get away with the stock filter? Not after max power, just good reliable bike.
 
The filter Ducati typically includes with Akra exhausts is the Sprint P08 pictured below. It does not need oil and is a direct replacement for the OEM.

if you are going to get the racing map from the dealer, you should do the air filter. It is the least fun part of the mod, but getting more air is part of richening the mixture.
