That is not bad, since it includes taxes. Where are you located, just out of curiosity and how did you swing that price?
Located in VA.
It was what was offered by them.

So, after speaking with a few dealers, I am being told by some that the akro exhaust is track-only and not street legal. What? Anyone else heard this?
Why would you think it's street legal? It removes the cat and and the noise reduction equipment.
My dealer here on EC won't install one unless you remove the blinkers and mirrors and sign an affidavit that you'll only use it on the track.
Its happens when the secondary air injection system is left in plate without the catalytic converters. The SAI forces fresh air in the exhaust after it exits from the exhaust valve. This is meant to burn unburnt fuel. Without the cats, you get the flames and loud(er) pops. So you can eliminate the air injection system with block off plates, or not worry about it.
A bonus to eliminate the air injection is that it can effect air fuel probe readings when at the dyno.
Slip-on alone will get rid of the catThanks for this explanation. Really helpful.
So, if a V2 has a full akro, is it possible to have it flame? Does the full akro get rid of the cat?
