At least, you get what you pay for.
Not all expensive brands can say so. ;-(

Isn't the release date a US one ? Anyway, will wait.
Right now, I have my favorite helmet, the Arai RX7-RC. Just love it, fits perfect, just the Pinlock is to change after a winter riding at temps below O°C, but that was expected. The screen is still faultless, as the whole helmet. Really happy with it.
My second favorite has been the Shoei XR-1100, very good helmet, but one rank under Arai. Their new Neotec is really nice; I don't like these crossover helmets, but this one made me think twice.
AGV helmets have not been that good, but I expect a lot from the PistaGP, and the whole new line they are working on. But I will never anything AGV prior to this one, although Dainese is my outfit manufacturer of choice.
I can't stand Schubert, but that's because they don't fit me at all. When I wear one, I become claustrophobic, especially their C3. Also, they look quite plastic to me. I am the only one to see them as plastic, so I don't really know where it comes from; maybe since I partially learn my life as a designer, I can spot the materials instantly.
Most other helmets were fine, but just fine : not especially bad, but not especially good too.
So, in the end, my top 2 is Arai then Shoei, and I don't really have a third brand I really like, although it might change once I try the PistaGP.
What about you ?

You just pretty much captured exactly how I feel about the various brands of helmets.
The release date of February is for Europe I believe, so the US is probably later than February. Because Champion Helmets is based in The Netherlands. I ordered mine a couple days ago and got the better.
I have family in Holland. I wonder if I could have someone pick it up in person sooner then waiting for US.
And you might want try one before buying it out.
Since it's a whole new helmet, and since that shape will most likely evolve, you can't deduce the right size for you based on previous AGV helmets.
After testing almost all full face helmets on the a
market, I can tell there is sometimes a world of difference between the helmet advertised size and the real size and the way you fit into it.
If I wait till oz gets that's helmet Rossi would have retired for sure.
Ha, funny, hopefully it doesn't come true though!
I have always worn a medium across the various brands of helmets I've tried. So I'm going with a medium this time too. I think (my opinion only) based on talking with the guys at Champion Helmets, they would be willing to do an exchange if the size isn't correct. Hopefully this doesn't turn out to be a case of misplaced faith.
