Panigale disc has 10mm offset

A lot of the older bikes had 5mm

Wonder if you still need the disc spacer if you are using 10mm offset disc?
Do you actually know anything about these bikes? Stock rotor offset is 15mm.

DesmoAndrew , got a link to that spacer kit ? Im confused as the discs are set wider on 1199 ? Yes ?

For the wheel spacer kit i think this one is better than the Corse Dynamics. This spacer is just sandwiched in-between the rotor and wheel instead of being bolted to the wheel and then the rotors are bolted to the spacer. It pushes the rotors out an extra 7.5mm on each side to line up centered in the caliper.

Lol. Wisdom is knowing I know nothing at all

You are measuring it wrong. It’s back side of flange to back side of rotor

Your method is measuring rotor thickness as well

Rotors are available in different thicknesses and that dimension has nothing to do with the offset

Open mouth - insert foot : )

Oh okay ya your 10mm makes sense lol. But it is you who is measuring offset wrong. Unless you are serious and are also then telling me Ducati and Brembo do not know how to properly measure offset either.

With regards to rotor thickness, whether you measure on the backside or the frontside, a thicker rotor will affect offset. By your measurements a 6mm thick rotor would actually have an offset of 9.5mm. And measured properly it would have an offset of 15.5mm. But it doesnt really matter because the rotor will still be centered in the caliper.

But yeah 749 and up to current v4 have 15mm offset rotors

Think about it...

Say you have a 5mm thick rotor...

Thats mounted on a hub with zero offset...

The whole set up lays flat on a granite slate...

0 = 0

Zero does not = 5

We talking about brakes ??
