NO.... I'm just answering the question.
I think his question is a legit one, the cover will potentially save him being bruised so viciously in the future when backing his bike out (as walking it out on an incline could be a disaster in the making, I have seen people drop bikes getting off balance), atm it would be like a high heel hitting him in the back of his thigh, the shock cover will broaden the impact area thus reducing the potential brusing by ten fold, think of walking on sand with high heels or jandals which is more successful you ask?
I would be careful giving him a hard time as he is from Texas where you can legally carry a firearm while riding, potentially he could go postal on our ass!!! LOL. I can't walk the bike backward while on it on get on it without the side stand down as I am 5ft 5, so I have learnt to adapt to seat heights over the years, yes I cop a bit of flack but when I wheelie past them with a grin from ear to ear the banter stops. Trashcan, don't take the comments personally, everyone likes a bit of banter and I am sure there are many on here that have the same issue, just not brave enought to ask. Enjoy your 1199.
Ask Gunny, check out his cover on the rear shock
